Smile Just made my garage into a gym. No more distractions

Hi Guy's. I have just turned my garage next to my house into a gym. It is not very big but it is enough for me. I am very happy. Now I can focus on my training 100%. It is a fresh start for me.

Thanks Guy's. The garage was never intended for a car. It was a toss up between a garage for my toy's (motocross bike and banshee) or a workout area. In the end their was only one winner. I could have built the garage as long as I liked but could not make it any wider unfortunately. Had to do the best with what I had. Bought equipment just to do the basic's.

You say "no distractions" now. Wait a little bit and you'll find out lifting at home actually has way more distractions then anything. Which is why I got back into lifting at the gym.

I'll admit it has its benefits, but after a while they seem to go away lol

    +2 .

I look at gym like going to work.

I go to work, work, then leave. Working out at home has never worked for me.

I gotta agree, distractions at the gym are a very rare yet if I tried to lift at home it would be "sidetracked city".

    Nice equipment.

I worked out at home for about 6 years consistently. If you want to lift then you will lift.

How much is membership at the paddy155 gym? I got arrested at golds, and I'm sick of 24hr fitness, so I'm in the market for a new gym...

I like to look at that picture and pretend that the coffee cup is my... firmly held in her warm wet mouth with her (preferably cold) feet.

I've been using my home gym for years now, I love my setup. I hate the fvckin gym, people sitting on the machines that I NEED to use and using them as a seat to watch tv.

This is why I decided to train myself. For example,I would go to the gym after work and it would be bicep's and back I was training that night. I go into the gym and it is extremly busy as I can only go at peak times. I have my exercises and poundage noted in my notebook for keeping track. The workout that was only intended on being an hour actaually takes nearly double that as I constantly have to wait on the equipment I intend to use. I hate to wait. Plus I get pissed of waiting for people sitting around on machines joking and not taking their workout's seriously.
It also saves me £35/57$ a month that can be spent on food or supplement's.
