Friends that we work out with

Who else here has close friends come to the gym with them on occasion and realize that inviting them in the first place was a mistake. it seems like everytime I start getting into a set, poof there gone, nowhere to be found, usually doing some type of bicep curl on back day.

90% of my friends are not good to work out with. However, some have the exact same mindset and focus as I do in the gym (and about the same stats, so we dont have to change the weights very much). When I work out with them it is 100% awesome.

I always workout alone. I don't like getting into a habit of depending on people to be there, most of the time they disappear. I just don't bother any more.

I try to avoid working out with friends that are noobs. I know they will just quit after a month anyway so it doesnt make me want to help them. I also know they wont give a shit about their diets either. I'll only work out with people who will follow the same/similar routine and lift similar weight. My friend who comes in from Miami once in a while is someone I enjoy working out with but thats about it

i like to workout alone but i feel like when i do chest i am more comfortable with someone there because mentally i will be worried if i cant get the last rep and get stuck but other then that i can manage every other workout alone...how do you guys cope with doing chest alone?
