Free Xbox 360 with red ring of death

I got a Free xbox 360 red ring of death. I think the warranty just went out......What should I do next....Call Microsoft or sell it. How do I get it fixed....

call xbox, and do not tell them that u got it free or u bought it off someone else.

tell them it is ur machine.
they will send u a shipping label, u send the xbox to them and they fix it for free and send it back.

dont worry about warranty as they had to add years to everyones warranty cause of all the problems...

just dont cry to them about it......

The adding years thing happened a while ago. I had to pay to get mine fixed by Microsoft last year. It's actually cheaper if you use their website instead of calling them.

If it's free I'll take it. I bought mine the first year it came out and they just replaced it for free last year. Go online and fill out the request form and they will send you a box an shipping label then when they get your machine they will send you another refurbished xbox instead of making you wait for that one. Just make sure you take your hard drive off before you ship it.

Xbox is going out today.....they told me I will come back within 2-3 weeks. Hope to get a refurbished xbox or hope it wont break down right away......

make sure it has plenty of room to breathe most red circles come from overheating

LOL...my 360 just died today, bought an Elite to replace it and I'm gonna send the old one to get fixed and put it in another room.

Ye the elites are much more reliable well that's what iv'e learned iv'e had mine for nine months now and no problems i just wish the headsets didn't brake so easily
