Would you guys ever use a coach if you were not gong to show?

Hey guys, so i am considering getting a coach for 6 months basically i dont know i guess i am bored. Is it worth it in your opinion. This is the guy i am thinking about using but I am not to sure http://www.prepbyalex.com/ basically want to take it to the nest lvl but a little in a different direction then i have always gone. I want to be lean as ****. I think i get good results when i run a cycle but i wonder if some of the knowledge that i am given will really help me in the long run. Basically what do you guys think.

I would plan on running 2 cycles during this period. or unless he recommends something else.

Scam or not needed or good idea?

If you have the cash and think you don't have the knowledge to do it by yourself by all means.. but if it were me.. unless I just absolutely COULD NOT get to where I am going on my own.. I'd consider it yah.. but I have a very hard time with people telling me what to do.. lol

Absolutely, even Ronnie Coleman and Jay Cutler hire coaches. I have contest prepped several competitors and have quite a few shows under my belt but still get a second set of eyes on me around 8 weeks out til showtime.

Sure. I gotta say though prepping for a contest really puts you on top of your game.

Sure. Just because I have no interest in competing doesn't mean I wouldn't welcome the guidance and reaching the top of my game. I may hire someone someday. The thought has crossed my mind.

IMHO a few Comps change your body composition.

If you can get down to 4ish% the next time you bulk you will look way different.

I think i am going to give this a shot. Waiting for an email back from him on some more info. I think that seems like a very good price to me to.

Alex is excellent, even his off season condition would destroy 90% of guys in top condition on show day. He's a great trainer, I've spoken back and forth with him many times

Alex spends most of his time on another board but I have heard nothing but good things about him too.

It is official, I will be working with him for the next 6 months minimum. I am going to be starting a new thread in the members cycle results section about the next 6 months. I hope all goes well.

Congrats! I look forward to seeing your log. You might run that past him first as a matter of respect and courtesy. I know some guys have certain protocols they don't really want out for all to see.

A good coach is a great idea, he helps you break bad habbits and mind sets.
