    Natural ways to increase testosterone thread

    Steroids are great for upping the test we all know this, but when your'e not on cycle or when you start pct it helps to know all possible methods of bringing your testosterone back or just keeping it high naturally all the time.

    This thread is open to any possible methods for increasing testosterone...

    This thread is also open for debate on any methods listed...

    broccoli

    garlic (I'd like to know if cooking it reduces the potency of the chemical that is responsible for this, cant think of it off the top of my head but I know that you can buy it in extract/pill form, gunna have to do some research)

    brussel sprouts

    cabbage

    beef

    tribulus

    tongkat ali

    ZMA


    squats

    deadlifts


    frequent sex or head(IMO forces the body to keep producing test... open for discussion...)

    solid sleep pattern

    avoiding alcohol

    I actually feel like working out itself creates more test then anything.

    If I take a few weeks off the gym I ALWAYS notice my sex drive goes down too. And I've never really noticed any foods change my sex drive (although I'm sure it still does to a degree). But my point is just because I notice it with workouts, I think that alone may boost your naddy test more then anything.
    And this may sound crazier but I've notice on days I reallllyy push myself, I'm horny as a mfkr right afterwards. That could be a result of so many things really but as far as boosting natural test I think most ways are a crock, or do it to such a small degree its pointless.

    Like tribulis for one, complete waste of time and I'd never take it.

    viewing pornography temporarily increases test in males. (watch some pr0n right before you work out maybe )


    I remember reading a study that said masturbating decreases test. in the SHORT term ejaculating coudl increase or decrease, but this study looked at the long term. The study showed that the males who did not ejaculate at all had steady testosterone levels until about day 7 when the test levels started to increase significantly. After the increase at about a week the test levels remained steady at the higher level.

    during sexual arousal a mans test levels can rise by 30-50%

    studies have shown that men watching pornography films showed increased test levels by up to 50%, however it was only short, and after discontinueing the film test feel dramatically below their normal levels

    eventually returning to normal levels shortly after falling

    however free testerome (the one u want to build muscle) was not effected what so ever

    meaning when u masturbate (arousal) u increase test BUT not free test for a short period, however after arousal OR ORGASM ur test levels have a small decline below normal levels

    again whats lesson, masturbation HAS NO EFFECT on test levels

    the small effect it may have, is for a short period of time (less then 5mins, yes even if u pullled away like a marathon, ur test levels MAY increase for 5mins, after that however ur body knows it a marathon and they return to normal)

    i should also mention their have also been studies that show sexual arousal had NO EFFECT ON FREE TEST OR TOTAL TEST, which conflicts with what ive just said

    from both studies however we can conclude that masturbation IF IT DOES INCREASE TEST, will not increase it enough or long enough to have any or even minimal effect, and as for muscle building
    NONE WHAT SO EVER

    the only muscle building masturbation has is on ur forearm, hahahahahahahahaha

    AS one last point their have been several studies that all support the fact that people who believe in subsistance (no masturbation or sex) have some of the lowest test levels and people who are continuosly sexualy active (acheive and orgasm atleast once a week) have the highest total test levels, however those who acheieved orgasms several times a week did not have significantly higher test levels then those who achieved it once a week

    another lesson their, if u want to pull or need to have a pull its a good sign that uve got a good level of total test in u

    i hope this helps u out


    so you can relate this study to having sex regularly aswell, since orgasms do occour then aswell (hopefully lol)

    proper sleep does raise test levels

    the body main release of HGH and testerone incur during the main hours of sleep so avoiding sleep or not getting enough sleep does lower your test levels significanly

    alcohol i think everyone already knows lowers testerone levels, and raises cortisol

    compound exercises (deadlift and squats) have been shown to raise testerone levels AFTER a workout for a period of a few hours, however following this their is a large rise in cortisol and fall in testerone, its strongly correlated to the amount of volume to train with aswell

    so though it may raise testerone levels for a period, it later sows an opposite effect, dont forget that the rise is testerone is good, but since youve stimulated a large amount of muscle groups it is needed to help promote protein synthesis

    tribulus has been shown to increase testerone levels in people, however rescent research has shown that not everyone actually responds to tribulus, and theirs a large group of males that trib does NOTHING for, so its selective, i personaly respond well to tribulus, while others i know say it does nothing

    certain fats have been shown to raises testerone levels, *****s especially, if you look at people on ketogenic diets they usually report an increase in sex drive after they get use to it, and usually get a few acne spots in the start aswell since the rise in hormones

    im not going to explain the science behind certain fats abilites to promote testerone levels, but im sure someone in this thread will for me if theyd be kind enough to

    I have found that other than the veggies I listed eating cruciferous vegetables. Broccoli, cauliflower, radishes, turnips, cabbage and brussel sprouts have all been shown to dramatically reduce estrogen levels, thereby raising testosterone.

    The think more you force you body to produce high levels of test, eventually overtime ur test levels will be higher than some one that doesn't or only does half as much.

    Its like DSM4life said on his "sak him anything" thread,

    Some one asked "is it true that if you don't use it do you lose it?"

    DSM answer after 25, yes

    That has always been my thot since after roughly 25yo alot of ur hormons begin to digress, so if ur over 25 and aint bustin at least one or twice a week, eventually its guna catch up with you.

    Black licorice lowers your test i believe so dont eat that. I think its disgusting so i dont have too much of a problem.

    FYI There was an episode of Braniac where the testosterone levels of a scrawny wimpy-looking man and a burly tough-looking guy were measured. The burly guy's was tons higher. Then they had the wimpy guy do sorts of "manly" things. He broke stuff, put on a black leather jacket, got a lap dance, and engaged in a yelling contest. The burly guy did "less-manly" activities such as napping quietly, knitting, changing a diaper, and listening to Celine Dion. After their activities were finished their testosterone levels were measured. The "manly" activities boosted the wimpy guy's levels and the burly guy's levels were dropped.
