Book Review Thread
Welcome to the Book Review Thread!
As some of you may know, a few months back I made a previous book thread, which while it was interesting to see what people have read, it essentially just become a list thread.
MaNiCC and myself came up with an idea of making a new book thread, but one with a bit more indepth detail.
It was clear from the last thread that quite a number of you have read many books. Well how about sharing that book with us with a mini review?
For instance, you could use this as an example:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Book Title: Insert book title
Author: Insert authors name
Book Genre: If its a fiction, what type, or put if its a autobiography, a book on fitness, etc
Synopsis: A short overview of what the book is about, try not to reveal spoilers if its a work of fiction, just a brief outline
Why everyone else on AR should read this: Why you liked the book, and why you think everyone else should read it
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Any book can be submitted for review. If someone wants to submit a mini review on anabolic steroid use , so be it. If someone wants to submit a mini review on The Bible, so be it. If someone wants to submit a book written by John Grisham or an autobiography on Ozzie Osbourne, so be it. If someone wants to talk about a period reviewed journal, then so be it.
Theres a good chance that several people will have read the same book or text, with differing opinions on what they thought of that book, so try and respect others book choice and opinion on said book.
MaNiCC originally suggested the idea, which I think is a good one, so have fun and let us know of any books you've read recently and why you think everyone else should give it a whirl!
