no good proxies with high speeds are free.
use charon to check proxies.most r crap
sometimes the best proxies arent free, I try to use a VPN service for everything, swissvpn was pretty good when I need anon stuff, but now I run my own VPS's and installed my VPN software, its pretty easy to do, and once its setup you can resell accounts to all your mates.
lowendbox has some pretty good deals for VPS's also, maybe google some tutorials on PPTP
It is difficult to find decent proxies that are free... HideIP isn't bad, but can be slow sometimes (http://www.hide-ip-soft.com/) The better bet would be to subscribe to a proxy service such as http://www.limeproxies.com/
