    bank asking questions on purchases!!!!

So I just made an order on some gear a few hours ago. Instead of doing the whole money order thing I decided to just use my bank card this time and an online payment company. Well about 2hrs later I get a call from my bank asking if I had made the transactions. Instead of answering the call I called them back from the number on my card just to be sure it was my bank who was calling. well they asked me if I had made the transaction I then asked them what the transaction was for they told me the price and that it was going to Iceland. So assuming they didn't know I told them yes I did I then asked them why this is popping up seeing as how I make hundreds of dollars in purchases online every month. They then told me it was because I have had a trend the past week of purchases at different gas stations in different cities and online purchases at different countries. Now the question is did i just get red flagged, will the leo be showing up at my door?

Have some direct knowledge of this. Banks are doing more and more of this type of thing, and be glad for it,

They are just trying to make sure you made the purchases. Some guy in Pakistan used my credit and I had to dispute all of those charges. They are trying to decline the purchases before they are posted to the account.

My bank calls me often to verify transactions. If I don't answer they send me an email. If I don't respond, they will suspend my card.

i once bought some stuff from a dick's sporting goods here where i live... it was a power rack and a bench, except This particular store didn't have both items. I bought the bench at one store, and went to a different store (within my state) to buy the rack. My bank called verifying that the purchases were made by me.
Feels good to know they're watching. lol
