Naw the lounge used to be really fun a lot of good debates with some great fvck off threads as well.

We also had some great minds in the world of aas that where around more then they are now.

it will it always does.. AR goes through repetitive phases going from boring and loaded w/ tards to fun and brilliant minds.. then something happens n' the fun/smart people will disband.. then slowly they come trickling back in one form or another.. n' then another occurrence will happen.. so on n' so forth..

Thats because 1) you've been gone a while

&2) it REALLY DID actually get boring. But its "tolerably boring" imo. I was gone for a few months and when I came back thats when I realized the board wasn't really as close knit as it use to be. It was much more like a family back in the day where everyone busted each others balls.
But there was also some things I hated about how the board use to be, especially when I was new. So it really is a trade off.

Back in 06 the "political correctness" was higher then its ever been. People use to get banned for literally their FIRST flame, curse, nude picture post, ANYTHING.

Way more 0 tolerance then it is now. But thats also what made it cool too, a lot more drama.

Yup, every so often you would come on here and find some MONSTER thread about some new drama and loads of people would get banned or walk-it was like a soap opera - like the Einstein and Da Bull scamming everyone episode - who remembers that?

I remember it. I think most of the time you are right though, it really was just how many people this place use to ban.

AR was once a place of no mercy, which def added to the excitement imo. I also remember when I was a newbie your punk ass had an itching for talking to me like I was 10.
But then I realized you were just English and stopped taking it personal all together. =]

I also remember Narks other site causing an all out nuclear war which was pretty entertaining. ARs a lot more chill though now imo, which is why I still stick around. Too much drama really becomes tiresome after a while.
