I had awoke out of my sleep 7am having convulsions, my body was shaking so quick and violentlyit was affecting my breathing, it had to last about 3-4 minutes long and towards the 4th minute I had hyperventilated and passed out cause I couldn't breathe during the shaking. I woke up I suppose minutes later and the convulsions had ceased (I'm talking full blown I had no control over my body convulsions, they were pretty severe imo).
And when my brain came to, I guess I was so shook up/scared I started vomiting uncontrollably, all over my bed, the floor, knees buckling and had broke out in a saturated sweat as I was heaving everywhere.
What I'm trying to figure out is whether this was technically a real seizure, or whether is was diabetic (I'm not diabetic that I know of but I do have symptoms like blurred vision and my dads genes). I've been in bed recovering all day, because afterwards my body felt like it had the flu. What worries me was this wasn't shivering or flu chills, this was all out convulsions that I COULD NOT STOP, it lasted a few minutes, and I had passed out because my lungs couldn't hold/get enough air. I'm just trying to figure out what the fvck this was and why it happened.
I WILL be going to a dr soon, I haven't told my family about it either, but has anyone here ever had a diabetic seizure? or even a real one? Does my story sound like either? I just have no idea what to think, I'm too young to be losing complete control over my own body like that. And I can say it was by far the scariest experience of my life, not just the convulsions/passing out, but knowing no matter how loud I tried to scream I couldn't make any noise to get help. Any thoughts comments would really be appreciated. I had nothing except jello the nite before, no pills or anything. So naturally thats why I'm thinking it was diabetic.
Really shook me up all day.
