Avatar...... HOLY CRAP

I just watched avatar for the first time last night..... HOLY CRAP was it good! Even though the movie was long..... it almost sucked that it had to end. It actually has a decent story to it and it makes you feel like you're in the movie. It's definately now in my top 3 favorite movie.....

Also, call me a weirdo, but i'd become one of them in a friggin heartbeat. Plus Neytiri is hot as hell in the movie.....

I agree DSM. I feel like 3D is just a fad and Hollywood is starting to go overboard with it but in Avatar they got it right and it came out brilliant. The effects were second to none and the story was pretty good too.

sounds good, i think i'll go see at at the flix then. the 3D effect wasnt tht great for Clash of the Titans, Alice in Wonderland was pretty good though

It really was an amazing movie. I saw it in 3D and in IMAX 3D I couldn't tell the difference.

Ordered it on Amazon last week will be here tomorrow. Also in my top 3 movies of all time.

I tend to get really involved when watching movies...... I don't hear anything else around me..... I just sit there and the movie sucks me in.....

This movie took it to a whole different level..... It's almost like your in it. I swear there was about 45 minutes where I thought you could really become one of them LOLOLOL

The best part tho is that it carries a message - Everything is alive..... and we should be treating our planet differently. It was also really cool how they could become "one" with the animals and the jungle.....

SOB - i'm gunna go see where it's still playing in IMAX 3D......

That was Hollywoods attempt to try and cash in on the success of Avatar. The movie wasnt filmed in 3D. Instead they tried to convert it to 3D afterwards and the results were horrible.

It's not playing in IMAX anymore because they were contractually obligated to give up screens for alice in wonderland - they were still selling out shows right up to that point. So they are Re-releasing Avatar this summer in theaters and IMAX with 6 minutes of new/additional footage to milk every drop out of this cash cow

I was not a fan of it at all. Of course I did not get to watch it in 3D so maybe that is why I didn't like it. The story line was good but I was also not a fan of the actors either. I watched it on BluRay but no 3D.
