Buddies got busted manufacturing, what should I do now?

Yesterday, two buddies of mine were raided and they got all their manufacturing equipment. Scales, vials, powders, labels... everything. I buy gear from these guys and am wondering what to do now.


I checked my texts. One of the guys got a new number and haven't really talked to him much. A mutual buddy ( not one of the guys arrested,but a close friend) I had a text around Easter asking if he had any "easter candy" that he wanted to get rid of.

The only text I have from one of the guys is a 'this is my new number' mass text he sent out on Jan 10. The other guy doesn't have my number. One other guy ( that didn't get arrested, but may still be involved in the sting) is the one I sent the message about the 'easter candy'.

I have other illegal drugs here at my house. Should I get rid of everything? And just wait to see? I've never had anything like this happen before.

I'm more than a little nervous.

You should be fine if you were just buying from them. They could care less about the customers they just want the supplier. How big was their opperation?

If they were selling conventionals them you might have a problem coming your way.

Do you have a link to the bust?

I can speak for Texas. Small amounts of conventionals usually was enough for distribution. So keep that in mind.

I know for a fact that they sold steroids to a LOT of cops. Not undercover cops, just body building cops. Will that work in their favor? Can the cops they sold to help them out? Or will they turn those names in for a lesser sentence?

I don't understand why you would be nervous UNLESS you sold too.
If somehow your involved in the selling yes be nervous, otherwise you have nothing to worry about. Cops aren't going to exhaust the man power go trace every single number on the phone and execute raids on all the numbers, nor would a judge sign off on any shit like that, its almost a violation of rights. Theres got to be reason, proof, *evidence.

Use your own judgement it should be simple to figure out. If you have only bought a few times you have nothing to worry about, if you were involved in any distribution yourself, THEN you worry. Otherwise just chill you'll be fine.

I'd have a little party and use all the rec up. Then keep traffic and all people out of the house. Don't send any more txt or call anyone about stuff. If you wanna hang w buddies go someware else to kick it. Don't sell of cary anything on you. If its the DEA they will try and get a flip out these guys. Chances are they busted that one dude and he flipt on them, scott free for him. Just be cool and think about things..you will figure it out or someone will slip and say somethin. I am verrry paranoid too but I've been busted by DEA. I took my spankn and survived, but it took a long time to get threw all the b.s. That was like 10 yrs ago.

I've been thinking about this and I pretty sure I have bought 5 or 6 bottles of test from these guys over the last four or five months. The last being test cyp from a guy that has yet to be arrested ( he is out of state) on April 3. That is well within the 'two month' investigation.

I have never been in trouble before. I'm 40 years old and only have 5 traffic tickets. My nose is NOT clean on this. Moving stuff out now.

How long before I can think about 'heads up'?

You should not be paranoid unless you are distributing as well. Do not trash your gear just store it somewhere safe if you are worried untill the smoke clears. They want dealers not buyers in this case.

no cop is going to admit to shit, and really anybody is stupid for saying they sold to a cop unless they can 100% prove it.. no cop will admit to knowing shit about anything..

a cop is not going to risk his job and retirement to go to the DA and say "hey i use to buy from this guy he is cool"

your fine if you just LAY LOW n' keep your goods where they can NOT be found if they raid your house.. thing is when they do "Search" your place.. u wont even know it .. u will be randomly detained and ur grounds will be searched instantly and you will have no HEADS up whats so ever..

3 Arrested in Steroid Lab Bust in Cleveland County

MOORE, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Cleveland County Sheriff's Office shut down a large steroid lab and arrested three people after a two month investigation.

A search warrant was obtained for a home, located at 417 Madison Ct. Inside the home, agents found steroid powder, liquid steroid compounds, unused glass vials, vial sealer, scales, unused pill capsules, pill capsule presses, syringes, drug ledgers, and labeling equipment capable of producing hundreds of vials of steroids.

"There is tremendous black market for steroids within certain bodybuilding circles throughout Oklahoma," said OBN spokesperson Mark Woodward in a press release.

Woodward said Dakota Epperly, 23, Marcus Wade, 26, and Cortny Choate, 20, were arrested Wednesday in connection with the steroids manufacturing and distribution. They were booked into the Cleveland County jail and face charges of Conspiracy to Manufacture CDS Steroids and Possession of CDS Steroids with Intent to Distribute. The penalties carry up to life in prison. Additional charges of violating the Oklahoma Drug Money Laundering/Wire Transmitter Act may also be filed in the case.

During the investigation, Woodward said undercover agents bought steroids from the suspects, as well as some Ecstasy and cocaine.

The steroid powder was being ordered on-line from China. Upon arrival, the suspects would use other components to convert the powder to finished steroids then sell the vials to bodybuilders in the Oklahoma City area and on the west coast.

Woodward said the drugs were manufactured as their own brand of steroids called "Red Line."

According to Woodward, additional arrests are possible as the investigation continues into those purchasing the "Red Line" steroids.
