well FYI 17 is the legal age of consent in NY, 17 and 15 arent too far apart in terms of looks. I dont know if you have seen some of the girls around here (im 10 miles from where it happened) but it is getting harder and harder to tell. Am i saying it was right? Absolutely not. But many people are under the impression he just grabbed some little girl and raped her, and thats not the case at all. Again NOT defending his action in the slightest, just pointing out the factsas they were reported in the police report.

No where does it say He beat her up and it does not say she was beaten up that day or just prior to him seeing her. From the story it could have been weeks before. People seem to fail to see the details and like to read between the lines or come up with their own conclusions without knowing the facts.
