I know there was a thread on this several weeks ago, but I can't find it.. this one is funny anyway, and has some comments from from some old heads like DSM, Lovbyts and Hoggage.. What ever happened to Zimmy.. he was a cool dude.

Anyway, I promised Almost Gone a full scale recipe for home made Pho, and was waiting for my wife to announce the occasion. Well, today she did, we went shopping and we're ready to stat the proceedings this evening and should be eating great by tomorrow afternoon.

AG, ingredients, pictures and instructions to follow my friend.. anyone else that wants a kick ass homemade pho recipe is welcome to copy it

    More to come!!
My wife has a great Pho recipe. She like the one next to Safeway, not the one next to Fred Meyers. lol

I eat sushi at least three times a week. Often swing by for some salmon rolls after training. Wife makes great sushi as well. Love all kinds of sushi... Ever had sea urchin?

Mine loves trying all the pho restaurants in town as well. We're typically don't return to most of them ( we're pretty critical considering the home made stuff) but we have a couple that are pretty good. She loves the Asian deserts too with the jelly stuff and beans.. Pretty good sh*t right there.

Can't say I have ever tried the urchin, but I do love eel rolls. I would eat sushi more if it was not so pricy, I limit myself to once a week. I will definitely look into the urchin tomorrow as I usually get sushi on Sundays.

Now the urchin is one of the most expensive types found in good sushi restaurants. In fact, you can't always find it. When you do, it has to be very very fresh... Bad urchin is very bad.. Good sea urchin is awesome. 2 pieces are anywhere from $10-15

Mine makes this rice (everything has rice) coconut milk and ??? She has to stir the caramel type mixture for 30+ minutes until it's like a rubber consistency.

Oh Jesus, the dim sum. My HAW never let's up on that. It's okay once in a while but far too much deep frying and carbs and not enough protein for me.

Yeah it's great every once in a blue moon. Whenever we pass through NYC, we stop by chinatown and little Italy. She gets dim sum and I nibble, and then we go to Little Italy and I find a good pizza. Little tradition of ours.
