    Second thoughts about tatt

So i'm booked in to get started on my full sleeve with chest panel on the 30th of June. The artist has sketched out my arm and started work on the design. But i'm starting to wonder if it's a good idea or a bad idea.

Did any of you guys with sleeves have doubts in the lead up to getting work done?

Any regrets after your sleeve was complete?

Did it change your life in anyway? (ie. people less likely to approach you, more likely to approach you. ie. difficult to find employment. ie. hard to land babes, easier to land babes etc)

Is muscle definition still visible, aswell as vascularity?

These are all things i'm thinking about.

I'm going to get one when im older.

    Looking at this.

IMHO with friends that have tats, you won't get approached more by conservative people but you will by others who like tats. And in general girls LOVE tats, but depends which ones.

Muscle and vasculinity is my fear, but with my pic above, something like that still lets you see a lot.

If you're getting something like the pic you had in mind before then it will take away some muscle definition and vascularity. My bf has a Paul Booth style full sleeve and he now wishes he'd got iton his smaller arm cos of the loss of muscle defintion

I think if you got a full sleeve tat it could affect doing business with certain people unless you wore longsleeve shirts. Im not sure what line of work your in but in my job first impressions are very important and some of the older generation could be steered away due to stereo types that seem to be ingrained in thier way of thinking. They link tattoo's to bikers and prisioners. The younger generation is more accepting of tattooes IMHO.

Why don't you just get a half sleeve and see how you like that. You could always add the rest of the sleeve at a later date.

ev tatt i go for im thinkin, do i really need this, am i gettin too many etc? but once its done i love it, dont let the anti tattoo society put you off, i'd have a fair bet that theres more tattooed people these days than not. if a gorgeous woman walks in with a well done backpiece the non inker's will remark it looks fantastic, if a bb'er walks in with one, its a fair bet tht he's labelled a thug. some society views are soooo out dated and biased
