Terrible week... How do you cope??

Hey guys, I'm kinda gonna open up like I'm in therapy here just wanting to know how you guys deal with things when everything falls apart. I am not really looking for advice in life, just advice with training and diet.

For the last 8 weeks I have been on a TKD (Targeted Keto Diet) and I have been getting great results. I have been flawless and have not cheated once. I do cardio 6 days a week 1 hour per day and do weight training 4 days a week. Trying to get into the single digit BF before starting my cycle.

This week everything fell apart. I injured my leg somehow not sure how on Monday and have not been able to do cardio properly, since then... today feels like the first day I can do any cardio. My diet was perfect until yesterday and today. I run my own business and I am not going to get into detail but this week was messy and I was on the road a lot and went 5 hours without a meal on wednesday. I ended up finally eating some pizza as someone had ordered some and I really had not choice. I have also been looking at new houses with the GF and was on the other end of the city. I have made due with eating chicken salads with light dressing while on the road doing that. My meals have not been timed properly nor have I been eating the right number of meals in a day for the last 2 days... I don't think I need to say anything about the Pizza incident.

I have not missed any of my days at the gym for lifting so that makes me happy, but with missing these meals, not doing cardio, buying a new house, my work is in overload right now and I got the shit kicked out of me in the stock market this week. I feel very depressed and all I want to do is eat some fukin food.... like good food... Pasta or a burger or something... and those of you who know the keto know that I am not allowed to do this. I do however have my refeed on Sunday. I have not felt this weak while on this diet yet but I don't know what to do.... I feel like I should cave and just start over on Monday but I know thats not the answer.....

Just looking for advice or support. Thanks for reading/listening.

What motivates you? You gotta keep your eye on the prize and keep pushing. I have been there with the injuries and food temptations and all that. You just have to stay strong and keep your mind on your goals.

WOW.... you said what I needed to hear and I appreciate it.... you are right we are not professional BB's nor will I ever be. I guess if I ****ed it up a little and it takes me 2 or 3 days to get back on.... oh well. I just thought I would be at my goal by now and it looks like I have at least 4 to 6 weeks before I am close.... Thanks for that Cal.... you hit the nail on the head and I appreciate you taking the time.

    as for the house...

No, I didn't buy yet. I am gonna buy brand new like I did last time.... It is gonna be built by a custom builder called Hillview homes. Me and the GF walked in a Bungalow and fell in love and neither of us ever like bungalows. I live ina 2 storey now that is 2289 sqft and this bungalow is a walkout basement with 1812 sqft main floor and 1282 sqft developed in the basement. We are going to have it built a bit bigger. The build time is about 1 year and I won't be moving forward on the purchase till next spring as I need to sell my house and I really wanna get at little more for it then it is worth right now. So if you know anyone who wants a house in Edmonton you let me know

Sounds like you have a lot going right for you too brutha.. hang in there. I agree with Cal on the life comment.. that's exactly what it is.. maybe we should start a thread "what's f'd up in your life right now?".. lol. You'd see a lot of f'd up stuff, guaranteed. Lots of people are losing their jobs and income, some people are getting divorced, some people don't have money to buy a house, never mind having it built to suit.. know whutta mean?

ok I work for UBG they have a company Greenboro House in Edmonton. 2 things to tell u....buglow great choice I never seems to like them. But If u like it good for u. Never build a basement from a housebuilder why? they freaking charge u double. its easier to built a basement after u move in I gurantee you that it will save u at least 10k minimum. Is it painful to built basement after u move in? yes it is but does it worth it......fvck yeah. i use to do this business and made ALOT of money doing it so i know little more things that ur average person....PM me if u need more info on this.......

LOL... I like your thread idea.... you are 100% right too.... Don't get me wrong I am extremely happy with my life and how things are going. I am just upset that I fuked up my diet like I did... it just really messed me up... I am a perfectionist and hate when things don't go as planned.

Hang in there bro, I sometimes compare life to poker, your gonna get dealt shitty cards now and then, you just need to learn to minimize your losses by keeping small setbacks from becoming major ones, keep your eye on the big picture, never give up, and in the long run you will end up on top. I admire you for what your doing, keep it up man. Sorry for the shitty comparasin, Im a poker junkie. haha

Sounds like life. It is full of ups and downs.

Questions, WHY are you buying a house with your GF??? Is SHE investing 50%? Stop thinking with your little head. You have a business already? Now if you where giving financial/business advise to a friend or someone you knew and they wanted to buy a house with a GF would you suggest doing that as a good sound business idea?

Yeah I know, YOUR girl is different. hahahahahahahaha

LOL... I knew this was coming.

I have been with her 9 month now and she pretty much lives with me already. She still pays rent at her place and has no mail coming here. We are not common-law and she has no rights to my assets. By the time I actually by the house we will probably be engaged and either way, she is signing a prenup. She already understands this and knows it is not personal... just business. Unless she can bring half of what I bring, which I know she can't.

I have spoke with my lawyer and have taken the steps to protect myself.

Good for you on the prenuptual. Only problem I see is what good does it do YOU for her to pay rent on a place she is not staying? If she is staying with you she should be helping YOU with the bills even if she has her own or others. She needs to manage it so she can help NOW or she will always have excuses why not to help due to her other bills.

Im being nice by watching out for my other fellow board members. Not trying to be a dick, I realize you think you are doing what is smart but take a step back and really look at it more. Ask your attorney not only what you should do to protect your assets but what HE would do or your fiends what they REALLY think..

I know you're not being a dick and I appreciate the look out. Not to be rude but I know you are older than me and are speaking from life experience, so I take to listening when older people start to speak.

Her lease is up on her place in 4 months and at that point she will be moving in with me and paying officially.... as a tenant. All the money she does pay me however will be invested for her.... she doesn't know this though. We make each other very happy and I am fairly confident that we will never get messy but I do however know that shit happens and I am ready if it does.

    Good Looking out. Thanks

Sounds like a plan, I hope it works out for you and here. It's just disappointing how many people go into things like this like you with the best intentions only to get screwed over later on by someone who end up being greedy/gold digger.

It's funny how long a girl can put on the good face with someone, even years then turn into the B*tch from hell and you are

dont let one or two mistakes ruin your whole path.

you realize the issues, correct them, get back on track - and off you go.

anyone who is dedicated knows one single screw up isn't going to derail your progress.
