Dammit..Its Leg Day Again...
Well, it that time of the week...leg day.
Once again i rise at 6 am...eat while thinking about how bad its going to suck.
I try to motivate myself and weigh the pros and cons of leg day...but the cons far outweigh the pros.
I literally cant think of anything enjoyable about leg day.
HMMM...just thought i'd share my misery.

ya bro. I dont love many things about leg day except the pump in the quads is awesome looking. I guess i dont mind leg days so much as I mind the 5 days of being sore AFTER the fact. Good luck man! Stay motivated!

I do legs at the beginning of the week and convince myself how much I love to do them. I am to the point where I am starting to believe the lie so it seems to be working. Doing them at the start of the week prevents me from making excuses as to why I should not do them.

its a love hate thing, me and leg day....but i try to man up and muscle through it cus imho the pro far outway the cons cus of the results of such efforts...

Leg day scares me too but man do i feel like I accomplished something great afterwards.
I can barely walk from my leg day two days ago.

lol, Did legs myself today. I normally look forward to it until about halfway through. Did low weight, high volume today. Not quite as bad when I do that as opposed to the heavy weight low volume.

Legs tomorrow for me too.. I just look at it as once the squats are over its down hill from there

Think about this...
1.- You having chicken legs (If you don't have them, skip to #2)
2.- The others looking ridiculous because they have chicken legs
3.- The feeling that you're doing what 99% of the population aren't, reasons being excuses

Its funny because when I was younger I used to love chest and arm day and either totally neglect legs or half ass them. Now with the state of my shoulders and elbows I dread arms and chest and actually look forward to legs. I hate calves though!

well that was an intense leg day...filled with the following:
-nausea
-dizzyness
-unwalkability .. lol
-limpitis
-people stare at my swagger limp leg walk at the gym
-swearing loud because my legs dont work right walking from the rack to the water fountain
-having trouble keeping the gas pedal pushed in my car while leaving the gym..
all around it was a good day though...im trying to make myself believe that i love doing legs..it will be an interesting next couple of weeks.
its all for a good cause tho!!!
not lookin forward to tomorrow morning

The thing I hate most is the drive home. I drive a stick shift and sometimes I have to push my leg down withy left hand to press the clutch.
Also my job requires me to run 8-10 hours a day so that sucks too.
But it's all worth it.

My favorite part about leg day is asking the asshat doing barbell curls in the squat rack how many sets he has left to go

Did something to my knee yesterday..... was on my 2nd set of hack squats and I couldn't go down any further than a foot or so..... hopefully next week I can go heavier.....

legs for me today. can't say i hate it as i'd rather be working out than doing anything else. but, legs are definitely my least favorite workout day the worst is knowing that sunday morning it's going to be really hard to get up off the toilet :-)

i hear you man....i did mine yesterday...then today at work it seemed like my boss knew and he put me on more shit to climb and what not hahaha....(i work landscaping/ construction)
its almost liek he knew...i would grunt and moan in pain whenever i climbed somethin..it sucked.

ya dude!! when i was just beginning i was setting up the squat rack and some midget fat fvuck comes up to me after i already asked this grouop of guys if anyone was on it (the bar was set up with a 25 on each side as if someone was using it)...the little shit was doing standing shoulder barbell presses, he didnt answer when i asked the group of guys he was standing with...
so i start to take his weight off and THEN he comes over to me and goes "um excuse me, i was on that man"...whie trying to hold back the A$$hole inside of me i politely muster the courage to ask "ok, how many more sets u got?"....and he had 2.....which means i go over and pretend to read muscle and fitness magazine for 5 mintues....that little shit...
