How to walk into a supplement store, spend very little, and get huge

We have all done it, walked into the supplement store planning on just buying a jug of cheap protein, and walked out dropping $100 on the newest "Anabolic activation system" or "special carb reload supplement" or "craziest workout pump up supplement!!" Well I have one question for some of you to remember to ask yourselves the next time you go in, and you will get better results. And that question is "Did Arnold have this?" If you only ask yourself that question you will find yourself walking out with only amino acids, affordable vitamins, and MAYBE some cheap protein powder or glutamine. Those are all you need to grow very big right there!! Then take your ass to the grocery store!! I've been doing this the past few yrs, and wow I'm actually larger than when I pissed away all of my $$ on miracle supplements

Agree, agree and agree.

Yes there is the obligatory disclaimer of what works for one bodybuilder might not for another, but in general to me he is the benchmark for what supplements and possibly other things (cycles even.. can't say with my knowledge level at this time) actually work and aren't a waste of time/money.

Used to blow shitloads of money on all the newest supps but now I stick with the basics. I wish I could get all that money back. 99% is all gimicks and advertising.

Even getting the basics from these places seem to find that hidden C note in the wallet real quick. Basics meaning some protein powder, NO explode type product, EFA's and vitamins .... Boom, my PIN is being entered!

One place I go to was trying to push this Test Boost shiat on me. It was over $100 ... I kept telling the guy that I was OK, good to go. He kept coming back at me with the whole being over 40 thing having a decline in Testosterone. So, I finally had enough and said, "Listen man, I'm on the real deal, I get TRT from my doc." Told him that I've got my levels "boosted" exactly where I want them to be via prescription. The guy at the store started telling me how it was a shame that I have to do dangerous drugs to get the same thing that he could get me naturally.

Told him to save it for the chicks using birth control, and for the day he gets an infection on his skin or eyes, cause more than likely those will be steroids too. They gouge you with the inflated prices, then they try to scrub your head with thinking all of this stuff works.

I have stopped talking protein and to be honest as you say it makes no odds the only thing you need is proper food and as you say did Arnie and all the legends have this, they didn't so no need to buy it.

yeah, i use a bare minimum (morning and after training), the key word is supplementation, alot live on the bloody stuff expecting it to produce miracles
