No Needle, No Scalpel Vasectomy
After thinking about it form many years finally got a vasectomy today. I went with a doctor who does the no needle, no scalpel version and it was an amazing procedure. Almost no pain today. Will see what tomorrow brings. Would highly recommend it over the conventional method.
Basically the numbing agent is injected using a high pressure puff of air rather than a needle. Then the doc uses an implement to nip a hole in the scrotum rather than making a cut with a scalpel. No sutures required. Ice packs and tylenol and I feel pretty good so far.
Was a little more expensive that conventional method but hey, they are my balls after all! LOL.
Just my 2 cents for anyone considering shutting off the sperm faucets.

Never even knew they had that method,,, is it reversable like some of the others?

I think all methods are potentially reversible but it is expensive and the odds of success are not 100%. The doc I went to does a nice business reversing vasectomies. His office is in Beverly Hills, CA and it looks like he is pretty successful.

By the way. I am feeling great today, one day after the procedure. A few spots of blood over night but absolutely no pain or swelling today. But I ices the hell out of my balls yesterday and last night.

Be a man and have it done right.
I had my balls completely removed from the sacks and spread out on the table. I have a scar that goes from one end of the sack (a hole) to the other (penis).
OK I had more than just a typical vasectomy. I have a spermatocele removed the same size as my nuts. LOL

Screw that! Worried about having a kid, just stick with anal. Problem solved.

I actually have a spermatocele or I think he called it a vericocele. At any rate when I heard the procedure to have it removed I said no thanks. I am on HRT to keep T levels up and now with the vasectomy I obviously dont want kids so just cant see the need for major ball sack surgery. Glad it worked out well for you man.
Was back at the gym this morning with still no pain or issues only 2 days after procedure.

I'm considering getting this done in a year or so.
I have no need for children, and have never wanted or enjoyed their presence.
My girlfriend feels the same way.. better yet, she is probably already infertile because of years of birthcontrol ...
But I'm going to go ahead with the vasectomy just to make sure

Hey Oscar,
I am no expert but have had it for many years, (20+) and no doctor has ever said it had to be removed but then it never caused pain or other symptoms. Several doctors did say that it MAY cause low sperm count, (no problem for me) and that it MAY lead to low test levels which I am addressing through HRT.
Good luck.

had mine done about 10 years ago. I was pretty nervous for obvious reasons. Not squeamish about pain, but when I worked at a sawmill pulling green lumber off the chain, I "caught" a 2x4 right in the nutts, so I've always been real tender down there ever since. But I digress.... So right before i go in, I drink a whole bottle of Irish Mist. I'm laying up on the table, gripping the edge right above my head, and evidently I was pulling down on it pretty hard, and finally the doc looks over at me and says you pull on that table any harder and you are going to snap that thing in two. So I tried to relax a little, but fuk! it took his slow ass something like 30 minutes. And when through, I'm walking out, and here's this little bit of "something" floating in a jar of solution. The friggin bastard took a biopsy and didn't even tell me what he was doing?

It developed over years growing slowly. My 2nd wife use to always joke saying if she ever had to identify my body in the morgue she would just check my balls since it looked like, flet like I had 3. LOL
It was painless. Yes they put you asleep. They told me that there are 2 parts of the body that swell up 3x normal size when they are exposed to oxygen; the brain and the balls. LOL
I really had no problem after except some minor discomfort. The usual ice helped and I was at work 2 days later. NO lifting.
I did start to tear my stitches though because I was out jet skiing less than 2 weeks after the surgery. I couldnt help it, it was nice out. LOL
Mine had gotten painful where it felt like someone had kicked me in the nuts at least once a month so I decided it was time for it to go.
