Bp fiasco
BP now stands for Born Polluters. They would be burning more of the midnight oil to find solutions to the problem, had they not already spilled it all.

I'm curious to see how they wiggle out of paying for all the damages.

this is going to haunt the next generation for sure, if not further than that.
they dont really care. they'll still post record profits.

There are talks saying if the oil is taken into the gulf stream that it would end up costing BP so much for clean up they would be better off filing for bankruptcy.

The Oil Industry, literally in this case, get away with murder.
No one else noticed how this subtely stopped being front page news? This should be front page news till that mess is sorted out. If this was a Nuclear Powerstation accident you can bet that the right wing would be bleeding that one for months.

So the $20b setaside BP is so GENEROUSLY providing...... That's probably such a small amount considering the fishing industry will probably be gone for at least a decade, maybe more. there are families that have fished the gulf for generations. You and I will probably never see this thing totally cleaned up in our life times!

It is really sad, especially if any of you have ever been to Fort Walton Beach Florida. That area has or should I say had some of the whitest beaches I have seen in the gulf. Just a beautiful area to vacation in. Now with tar balls washing on shore, no wonder people down there are going suicidal.
