No, I haven't. I wore a back brace to help with poster when I had a lower back injury. I also do stomach vacuum exercises as a means to strengthening and tightening the abdomen, which is an exercise I don't see talked about much. It targets inner abdominal muscles that are often ignored.

What is your goal(s) re the ab wraps?

If it's what I'm thinking then it's garbage. Wraps around the stomach, forces you to sweat in that targeted area? It's faulty logic because sweating in and of itself does NOT burn fat. It WILL dehydrate you in that area, which isn't good.
You CANNOT target an area for fat reduction... you lose fat all over.

I didn't know that. we had a couple of guys passing out way back in the day when I was in hschool.... they wanted the advantage that comes with being able to wrestle smaller guys... but I think most were cutting, some more so than others.

yea thats the reason they changed it. kids were passing out or ending up in the hospital. Now they weigh you first day of practice and you are only allowed to cut some much from there.

A chic I know works at a gym. She has some real creepy stories about how she had to break "things" up in her gym. Maybe I should start a new thread
