Some exciting news.....

So this weekend I went out and brought one of my best friends with me. He was telling me about one of our other freinds (havn't seen in a while) who just did a show. He took 2nd place and because of his friends in the business - he is in talks with Gaspari nutrition about signing a contract with them. My best friend will be brought onto the team as his workout partner.

Now if everything goes according to the way I plan it in my head..... My best friend will get a contract in a couple years (he's damned big now) and i'll be brought onto the gaspari team as a workout partner

i met Gaspari, and Flex Lewis. Flex is super nice, incredibly short, and definately has dominant arms... Gaspari was kind of a "all business" sort of a dick, and his eyebrows really bother me....

Congrats on the news.

Rich wasn't too talkative when I met him. The Gaspari team was nice. Especially Marc Alvisi, it was post USA's so he was stoked on the win I'm assuming.

It's all about getting your foot in the door and networking. Theres tons of people that could get signed but don't because they don't know anyone.....

exactly, like if I spent more in church, they would know me and then try and commission me for their posters on abstinence. But I dont get out and mingle enough... my loss I guess

Yeah thats good news Hazard but not what I was expecting to read. When you said exciting news I thought wow Haz is finally cowboying up telling all of what happened at the party, that he finally gave in to his penis loving friends and let them have their way with him, with all those penises making him look like a porcupine as he was the object of their affection. that after all was done, they all left thinking they had been in a Bud Lite Commercial, less filling but tastes great.

Unfortunately no. When your good, the sponsors come to you. Nobody on a local level is going to get dick other than free supplements MAYBE. Once you start winning shows like Junior USA's, Jr. Nats, Nats, then they flock to you. Until then, your just another guy working out looking for free shit in their eyes.
