    My piranha's keep eating eachother!!!

    i know this is a bit random.. but i just caught them eating another one... those canabalistic bastards!! i started off with 20 a little over a year ago.. now i only have 4 left.. all except one died from them eating eachother.. I feed them plenty so it is not that.. they are just evil f%ckers...

    haha.. they are vicous.. when they were the size of a quarter when i first got them I put a big gold fish in there the size of your fist basically... after one night i turned the lights on the tank the next morning and they eat the goldfishes eyes.. and nothing else.. what kind of sick fish does something like that??

    I bought them before i realized you can't get live mice here.. A rat cost 20 euro.. F%ck a goldfish costs 3.. a tiny 2" goldfish.. i was expecting to pay what i was paying in the states but it doesn't work that way..

    How big of a tank? Mine did the same until they were down to 3. My cousin has 7 going right now in a 70 gal, they were raised together though.

    450 liter.. so about 110 gallon.. plenty of room as they are only about 5-6 inches accross

    you are supposed to throw in live mice.. but i can't do that over here.. so i feed them either stewing beef or Prawns... more prawns lately though cause the beef makes the water gross and i have to change it way more often if i feed them that.

    Live mice gave mine diseases very fast, not a good idea. Ya a 110 should be fine. Have you checked the bottom for eggs, they look like pearls? If a female has laid eggs the tank will go crazy.
