Should i go to the gym today?

    Hey everyone

Today is leg's day for me but i'm also going to a wedding party tonight with a girl i really like so this means i will drink and stay up till 6am or even more, i don't do this more than 4 times a year and i can't waste this chance.

Should i still go to the gym or take this day free?

IMO, I wouldn't even bother with the gym if you plan on drinking all night until 6am. With that amount of alcohol in your system by the end of the night will make your training session earlier that day completely useless. A few beers won't hurt, but it sounds like you are going to party hardy.

My suggestions if you do train the same day of lifting:
Be sure to consume a source of slow digesting proteins before the party (casein shake or whatever). This will assist in catabolism before you drink. Consuming Multi-Vitamins before the party as well since many of them aren't absorbed when the alcohol is introduced. Hydrate yourself with water before, during, and after the party. This will assist in dehydration throughout the night. Have fun.
