Refurbished Macbook or Macbook Pro

Group,

I am converting from PC to a Mac. I went to Best Buy and the Apple store and asked about purchasing a refurbished Macbook. They both agreed by saying they would trust a refurbished unit.

Those you have purchased a refurbished unit, have you had luck and where did you find your unit online?

A few of my buds are mac lovers. I have 2 pc's and 2 laptops in the house. I was burned when I upgraded to Vista...now my kids want me to upgrade to Window's 7. My buddies just shake their heads...

I borrowed one over the weekend and loved it...

lol refurb mac? you know what they say....you can polish a peice of sh*t all you want...but it will still be a peice of sh*t when you are done.

Yep but the turd I have at the moment, Compaq w/window's vista isn't worth polishing!

Windows 7 is a world apart from Vista. If you to decide to get a Mac, make sure you bring the KY...because you're going to get raped.

Windows 7 is pretty legit

lot more stream lined than vista.

But if you have the money go with a mac!!!

but spend the extra cash and get a new one, or get a used one on EBAY or craigslist don't get a refurb why bother.

I manage a GeekSquad btw so I deal with a lot of computers...
