    LoL!!!

My current gym, 365 Fitness, is actually a great gym. It's not hardcore in terms of it's members (alot of old fogies milling around, etc) - BUT equipment wise, they have EVERYTHING - and it's quality equipment. I grew up in gyms as my mother was a trainer, so I got to see alot of great gyms that were 'holes in the wall' - which as you know are usually the best gyms vs. these big chains. My current gym reminds me of those old school gyms.

Now, a gym i've never actually trained in (these guys would chew me up and spit me out) is Diamond Gym in Maplewood NJ - famous (at least locally) for being about as hardcore as a gym can be. ALL juice heads, a bunch of monsters. I would never be welcome there!

I miss the old school military gyms I grew up in with my dad in the service. Iron, bent bars, old racks, chalk flyin everywhere, flickering flourescent lights, painted concrete, swamp cooler for AC, gruntin, groanin, the sound 315 makes when it's being moved, the loud boom of the iron hitting the rubber flooring...

    Man I miss those days.

I don't know if it was the best, but the most impressive I have ever been in was the "Pro Club" in Seattle or Bellevue, Washington. I think it's one of the biggest gyms in the US.

Everything you can imagine. From restaurants with health food, numerous indoor tennis courts, basketball courts, pools, etc.

Nice. I will have to check it out, Im 20 minutes from there.

One of the nicest I have been in was in Philippines. They had everything, it was all new and plenty of massage on site also. 30 minutes, $5. Food was also cheap. The only thing EXPENSIVE in Philippines or Thailand is protein powder...

If I walked in there and saw Bob Ciccerillo(sp) standing there i'd walk to the nearest pawn shop, sell my wifes wedding ring, buy a revolver, and shoot him in the face. He's a douche.....
