Hmm.

Everything on this forum is self explanatory. People just don't like taking time to read. Lazy asses just want to be spoon fed.

This thread just confused me, that's all.

In your point of view, how do the new members get treated here at AR?

some times they get treated kind of harsh for asking stupid questions which like i said is understandable. I'm not saying the mods are harsh i haven't seen one harsh comment you guys are actually quite supportive. this is just my first time on a forum and i feel quite dumb trying to figure out how thing work and its hard to ask others in fear of getting flamed and feeling more stupid. I'm sure I'm not the only one. and i think AR is great that's why I'm hear i didn't mean to sound like i was bashing Ar if that's how you take it apologise

Its just a odd post for some reason. Its the lounge, everyone already knows anything goes for the most part. No need to start another thread. You make this seem like it was suppose to be some intro message from you, yet you never introduced yourself. And actually there is a "new male members" section here. But I understand coming to the lounge because it gets way more traffic. And to see what button does what? lol, are we 5 year olds? Usually the big black B at the top left means "bold". Lets see... bold... oh cool! And the U with the underline means underline... Now lets look at that... underline please... well sweet jesus would you look at that!
Bro, Im just busting your balls. Welcome aboard. This is a great place with a ton of good information and good people.

Flaming is a day to day thing on any forum board. It's inevitable and something we do not tolerate here, and we do the best we can to eliminate them ASAP. What typically upsets the staff and regular members here that give the same advice everyday is the fact that people join then proceed to ask questions which can be answered by reading our stickies and educational threads we have posted here.
If more people took heed to our stickies, more people would have a better understanding on the fundamentals of cycling correctly.
We don't mind answering questions, we just like to see people take the initiative to do their homework first before asking questions and expecting us to spoon feed them.

I can't think of one mber here who would call you stupid or flame you for asking questions. There's members who have been here for a very long time who don't know how to do things such as post pictures. If you have a question then ask and if someone flames you for asking a legit question more than likely that member would be gone soon after.
