    Tattoos

What do you think about tattoos? Would you ever make a tattoo on your forearm? Are there many jobs were you aren't allowed to have tattoos on your forearms?
I like tattoos but I don't have any tattoos yet.

I have tattoos. I have a half sleeve that's gonna turn into a 3/4 sleeve soon. But again, I can't see myself working for someone else in my life, I'm the entrepreneur type so no one can tell me what to do.

I've got two but I won't get one on my forearm until I'm set in a career. Don't wanna take the chance of losing a big job over a little tattoo. Although tattoos are becoming more widely accepted.

Tats are very addicting. I have several, including my little girl's initials on my right forearm. I think it depends on your career whether or not you should get one there. I'm self employed, but when meeting with a potential client i always cover it up. When they sign the contract i don't mind showing it off and i've never had anyone say anything about them.

I have several tattos but mine can all be cover with a reg t shirt. I belive that if you are not sure of your future carrer i would hold off on any visible tats IMO.

I've actually had some tats removed (hands) for employment purposes.

I love tats, but think twice depending on your career, and get them in places that would could be covered in a professional environment.

I just saw a commercial yesterday for Tat removal cream. I doubt it works as good as they say but it's worth a try.

I once told my daughter she should go into Tattoo removal (laser) but I think soon enough they will have something better.

I should (someone will) invent removable permanent tattoos. They will stay as long as you want them but once you decide you dont want it any more it's easily removed.

I hope that removable ink doesn't become mainstream.

I like the idea that you have a tattoo for life and scares the general population away from getting them.

I also like that they're painful. I believe you have to earn a tattoo.

I am in the Army, and they have strict tattoo policies. Basically, you can't get anything drug, gang, or anti-america related, and when wearing my Class A's, none should be able to be seen.

So, I have 8 tattoos, but the rules I follow are nothing above the collar bone, nothing below the elbows, nothing below the knees. This way, I can even go out for morning PT, wearing my Shorts and T-shirt, and I won't look like I all tattood up, no matter how many i may get.

I also agree in getting something meaningful. I have certain guidelines about what i get. Everything represents a very real and important chapter of my life, they are all done by the same guy (because he has tattood everyone in my family, so I know he is good, and I can trust his work), and everything I get is black and grey, no color (more of a personal choice, I feel it makes them more apart of me, than something that is used to flash around and look pretty)

I have 2 tattoos, one small one on my chest I got 18 years ago, it's a heart. Up until a couple years ago it was a broken heart. You have no idea how much ***** I got b/c of that tattoo lol

I got another tattoo about 4 months ago, a phrase that is on my back in between my shoulder blades. It's pretty bad ass in what it says but came out great with the font I wanted it in. Might add more to it's theme in the future on my shoulders or back, not sure yet.

im sleeved and still plan for more. i love tattoos and the artwork. only advice i have is find legit artists and be prepared to pay a usually strict hourly. some of the most phenominal artists (nick baxter comes to mind..best ive ever seen...scope his website out) has an hourly of $100/hr. if someone tells u they expect more...show them this guys website and then tell them to get ****ed.

I have 3 tattoos. They can all be covered with a t-shirt. There are tattoo policies at my work but they only need to be covered if they offensive.

No tattoo yet, however, I am considering getting a half sleeve. I will still be in the thinking process for some time.

I don't want to be regretting it in about 10 years time.

I have two, one is on the wirst but can be covered by a watch. But honestly, as I'm getting older I actually regret them. Thinking about getting them removed but it's pricey!!
