Anaerobic resistance training seems to have an anti-histamine effect in and of itself

I'm getting over a small cold I blew away with vitamin C the other day, and today i'm in the last stages of it where its moved to my sinuses though it's fairly minor thanks to the vitamin C.

I was just training legs half an hour ago and I thought I wouldn't be able to get through the workout if I couldn't breathe properly 100% through my nose. I was debating actually doing the workout but decided to hit it anyways. Each time I engaged in an intense set, after the first few reps, my sinuses started clearing up bigtime. I've got some theories as to why this is the case (vasodilation to the legs and vasoconstriction elsewhere being one of the factors I think), but I wonder what the real reason is if there is any other reason.

every time i get lazy and don't exercise for awhile my nose runs during a good workout. my buddy who's a cigarette smoker, sneezes and looks like a open faucet on the occasion he works out with me.

maybe its something like you say that gets the immune system pumping good?
