wow, VERY good control. That is definitely not just some dumb guy with a fast bike, he knew how to ride... Then storing the bike, casually walking out, and waiting for the cops... legendary.

145 was the fastest i got the 750 up to. The road felt as smooth as ice which freaked the $hit out of me.

hahaha, yeah man. That's what happens when you take a light 170kg bike and put massive engine in it. Feels like your bike has skates on the wheels.

Whoever can drive with that much control at 180+mph... damn.. well I have respect for them!

Thats a crappy way to get busted. Did he know they were actually following him or did he just pull over for the hell of it?
Ive done 165 on my 600 before but not with that many cars around. He must of had a death wish

Really? When I hit 165 I was feeling the road roll and my front wheel lifted up after hitting a very very slight dip and that scared the shit out of me. That's why I didn't go faster (on that run). We instead went straight to the airport as the freeway went right by it and then we could hit residential and get lost. Barely made it I would say.

The biker knew that the police plane was following him. lol. I'm pretty sure he realized it was inevitable...

not to mention since he was accelerating that much he was probably figuring that he would run out of gas before the plane did.

Nope, most of the time the chopper is so high up you can't hear/see it.

They weren't chasing him in a chopper though.

They were chasing him in like some shitty ass farm-plane that looks like it was used for the last 50 years as a crop-duster, LOL.

I think he still could of got away if he would of just hit a straight freeway to get out of planes site and go from there. Especially with that slow P.O.S. plane

I wonder if they towed the bike also?

hahaha... I'm sure they confiscated the bike after they arrested him. In my state if you get caught "driving recklessly" or "endanger the life of the public" while doing "excessively speeding" they can take away your vehicle for 100 days, and charge you $1000 fine.

I got reckless endangerment for taking the chp on a 145 mph chase with a girl on the back of my bike. Funny thing is, I wasn't running, I just have no mirrors and loud ass pipes. I figured out why everyone was moving out of my lane after I slowed down and could hear the sirens...

Good thing a lawyer came with the company I worked for!

been around 170 on my modded 636. it seemed really stable for such a high rate of speed, cars doing 70 seem like they're sitting still.

i think the human brain starts to fail at comprehending speed at about 130 or so. and speaking of 130 i took a spin the other day and met the county boy at about that speed. scared the shit outta me b/c i don't ride a whole lot anymore, i just put my head back down and gassed on it. came back in my car after i got home and sure enough he was still patrolling, looking for me.

Jesus christ man. That is FAST!

I would never want to ride something going, or close to, 300km/hr. Especially without a seat-belt! haha.

Do they just have like crazy good biking highways in Cali and places like that?? :S lol.

Do you mind if I ask where you live? like I don't even think my State's roads are good enough to rip that hard on.

Did anyone see the video about 6 yrs ago with the Mustang being chased in California? The guy was going between 60-100 mph being chased by 4-6 cops and they were trying to do the pit manuever but everytime one would spin him he would just do a 360 and keep on driving they spun him around 5 times in a row before finally one cop spun him.

    Hey I found it.

I live in arkansas. Got the 170 on a good stretch of interstate. as soon as i let off my friend went right by me lol. probably will never see that speed again.

went i saw county i was actually ****ing with a truck that sort of pulled out in front of me and then after i passed wanted to act like it had somin, so it was a bit of road rage that ignited the really high speed.

but i used to ride with all sorts of people who would blow by you whilst doing 140 on the interstate. lol. a lot of squids around here. even when i was riding all the time my natural "slow the **** down" instinct kicks in about 140

believe or not, speeds at 160mph+ become quite unfazing once youve gotten used to a superbike. my mates '08 gixxer bounces of the rev limiter at 185mph! i prefer the handling/control of his to my fireblade

I love this vid! I've seen it on like "100 Most Incredibly Police Chases" on Spike-TV. lol. It's so crazy... I wonder where he learnt to do stuff like that :S seems like you would have to be a professional driver or something?

hahaha, that's hilarious. damn you southern hill-billies and your damn good roads lol j/k

F*ck though man.. it must be SO ridiculously hot with heat from bike/engine at 170mph and the road surface... and then you got that wicked heat/humidity y'all got down there. lol. I'd probably pass out.

That's seriously crazzy. My buddy has a 2009 lambo, he's taken me to about 130mph in it no problem. Smooth as ever.

    link up a youtube..?

I wanna see some clips. 185mph! f*ckk! faster then a small plane. I just got this feeling nothing on a small a*s bike should be going that fast :P ahha.

I saw this little gem as a comment underneath it:

"Love how after all that adrenaline he goes home and leans against a truck to smoke a cig"

^^ The truth. damn your legs would feel like jelly after a 20 minute ride at those speeds while being chased by cops the whole time!! lol.

I couldn't even imagine the adrenaline that would be pumping though. lol. Damn... he just accelerates so quickly it's stupid.

big cc bikes are actual more stable at higher speeds, you want to be well tucked in though!! couldnt do the you tube thing, dont live near him anymore. he gave me a blast on it and i was in 3rd gear @ 70mph behind a truck, gave it some and boom front wheel was barking at the moon. im no wheelie expert, scared the shit outa me!!! lol

LMAO. for me it's one of those things i just wanted to experience for a short period of time, like lets turn it till i hit the number i wanna see and then bring it right back down.

dec11 is correct from my experience in that many people will turn it up that high on a daily basis and then try to sustain those speeds. not me bro

its so incredibly easy to reach 100+ on new-gen superbikes. hell some liter bikes will probably do it in first gear.

my 06 636 ninja claimed to run sub 3 second 0-60 with just a jumper mod.
this involves taking a little piece of wire and "jumping" it inside a certain fuse box that overrides the computers stock configuration for an exhaust valve that inhibits high rpm power due to U.S. noise regulations.

heres a vid of a bike exactly like mine but showroom stock, and without speedo healer. the digital mph tends to read about 10% high w/o healer:

and she's just a little ol' 600 lolz

Dudes got balls. I've done 170 on my cbr but it was on a long stretch of backroad and no cars were around. Surprisingly the speed was still rising when I hit 170 fairly easily. Probably could've gotten to 180+ but I was running out of straight road.

I did it just to say I did it. I regularly hit 145-150 while on the highway.

Damn I didn't even realize how many bros were into bikes on this site. lol.. I'm going to start posting up hella vids. I've been watching them all day. so addicting lol.
