    **PLEASE READ** Important

    I am a member/staff of many boards and Joining other boards isn't an issue but problems can occur when the owners of new boards try and get our members to poach and solicit members to go and join the new boards. Anyone with any kind of integrity would instantly know that is morally wrong and doing other peoples dirty work is bad judgement, it is also against our board rules reason being we can not endorse the content or security of those boards... many allow open sourcing which is fine however we do not want links here making us appear to support that... many of our members here are members at other boards and we do not have a problem with that...

    We do however have a problem with dishonest people pming our members and in return our members complaining to us about being pm'd/solicited to go elsewhere... and /or making statements as to how they will launch an attack to get members, all of which do not sound like just a friendly gesture to have a friend visit a new board to us...

    Facts are that this board is the biggest steroid/bodybuilding forum on the Internet and many other boards have tried but failed miserably to try and compete, we also have the biggest traffic and constant flow of new members asking and answering questions at all levels. The staff here are very diverse and have a wide range of knowledge and expertise.

    I just want to state again that joining other boards isn't an issue but trying to poach and solicit members via pm/email is against the forum rules. This board as some great members and characters the atmosphere is outstanding so lets keep this up and please enjoy the forum.

    Good post and defiantly deserves to be a sticky. Honestly, I have never felt the need to even visit let alone join any other boards. I THINK I did join one board before this one but I have not been there in the past 3 years except to try to get them to stop spamming me with emails weekly.

    Is it against the rules if you happen to be friends with someone here and pm back and forth every now and then and one person or the other happens to mention for some reason another board they belong to, not in trying to recruit but just like making convo, bb talk can lead to many things and I can see situations where someone might say they belong to board x too, not knocking this board in any way, just like mentioning it in one of their convos? I'm not talking about anyone trashing this site or saying another site is better or anything like that, but is it against the rules to mention another site in a pm as part of a convo where no negative stuff is said about this site or the other one being better or whatever. You know what I mean? I would like clarification of that, and I"m talking about 'friends' talking too, not some random pm from a stranger saying something about this board or another board.
