I'd love to be able to do this:

Now if he could just lift some of that weight out of his fat gut, he'd be set.

Oh wait, a 550x2 Incline Bench

    Looks strong to me...

You’re going to talk about the guy’s gut… come on that’s how most strength athletes look. Most of those guys have to have a huge base to push those kinds of numbers but what would you know ??? I suspect most of your training is fashioned around bodybuilding type lifting. This is a BB forum after all.

Actually it's the other way around. I came from a Powerlifting training regimen and eating regimen (unfortunately). Just threw caution to the wind and ate as much of everything as I could. Not to say that you can't be ripped and still lift a lot, look at Stan Efferding. Guy is ripped enough to have vascularity and he still inclines those 220's. More than Ronnie's dumbbells on the flat bench at 200's. Just imho it's easier to powerlift naturally by not trying to restrict your caloric intake at all for more anabolism. When one kid I was training with went from 280lbs to 180lbs, he could not lift jack anymore. Sure all the fat was sucked out of his face and he looked beyond great, but his strength was gone. He could, however, run 2+ miles per day. He used to deadlift and squat close to 800lbs. But I don't know if women care how much you can lift, they probably just don't want you to look like a pile of lard...

Yeah I’m not going to lie… Women are not necessarily attracted to the powerlifting type. I don’t see Brian Siders, Scott Cartwright, or Any Bolton on the cover of Playgirl any time soon. For humanity’s sake I hope not to see any of those guys naked
