Haha yeah I heard this on the radio during the week. Those chicks were totally blindsided by the comment and had no idea how to react.

Stupid woman.... I think I know what she was TRYING to get across but her delivery and explanation was quite lacking and it's really not a subject that most people want to talk about or admit they would think about it.

I know and I have discussed with spouses if I was a vegetable, if I was in pain/agony all the time and had NO quality of live I would defiantly want someone to take me out.

i'd probably agree with that, but I think the difference here is you're an adult who already made that descision for yourself whereas old ironsides is talking about suffocating infants/children to put them out of their misery (although one might argue she'd rather put them out of her misery)...and then referring to them as "a couple of cells"
