    I love eating organs.

    I had a beef heart and kidney last night and i'm telling you, heart is some of the best protein i've ever had. I don't get why people shy away from organs. I'm always the first to eat that shit when cooking a turkey or whatever.

    Anyone know the quality of protein in a cow heart compared to a regular cut of steak?

    I got mine to taste pretty good. Smoked them on the BBQ after seasoning them a bit.

    You can't bake them, they're so bland and disgusting that way. Only other options may be to sautee them or throw them into a soup.

    But in seriousness, are organs expensive? And I take it you get them from a local butchers?

    I do not have any issues with heart but I do not eat it myself. But I will not eat any organs that the body uses to clean toxins and filter blood. That is my take on eating organs!

    If the nutritional value isn't far off from eachother why not just eat a steak? You can cook a steak just about anyway it will taste good.

    I don't know about him but personally I get my organs from the local morgue.
