Well that shit happens.. I know they have a warranty on them..BUt you know how those go..Could be some loop hole where you get screwed, you'd have to check on that..http://www.bowflexselecttech.com/bst...s/warranty.jsp

they handles are pretty nice on those but they are a piece of sheeit for 600bucks the 1090's are like 90lb-ers the other ones are like only 50lbs for like 400 bucks....2 Olympic dumbells with some nice screw down clamps and you can fit like (14) 2.5's Olympic plates on each side then you will have everything from 15-85lb in 5lb increments for around t 100bucks....when you get meaty just start collecting 5lb plates by the ...cheap effective gets you just as big as the 600 dollar ones

Personally I just like having a few heavy dumbbells around. I even have a few at work under my desk. You can pick up some GOOD weights, dumbbells etc on Craigslist.

I have picked up a few near perfect tread mills for free and sold them for $100 -$200. Last one was NICE but they where to stupid to know how to adjust the belt so it didnt pull to one side and shredded the edge of the belt. I adjusted it in 2 minutes then used an exacto while it was running and trimmed 1/4 in off the belt. Looked like new.
