    Question Didn't enjoy 3D

    Last night I watched resident evil 3D.

    It was the first 3D movie I have seen in theaters.

    I actually think I hated it. It was all distorted and I was havin trouble following the movie. Too many scenes came out blurry,

    At home I have a 63" LG with 7.1 surround sound. I think I would rather watch my movies there in blu-ray.

    I would also like to note that I am a movie buff and was a little disappointed in 3D b/c the movie was actually pretty good.

    Watched toystory 3 in 3D and loved it.Maybe the place showing your movie didn't have the process down.Blurry and out of focus pics are usually due to the cinema I find anyway.

    I am still considering 3D a fad at this point. I kinda just wish it would go away. Avatar was awesome in 3D! Loved it and it was worth the extra money to watch it. Other than that every other one I have watched or heard about from other people has sucked. I just want to relax and watch a movie and I feel like 3D if not done correctly can actually take away from the movie watching experience.

    While I'm hoping 3D is a fad, it seems likely 3D is going to become even more of a mainstream theme. Electronic companies are spending a boatload of money to make 3D televisions which don't require the glasses. Some models are already being sold in Asia. The only set back with them is they apparently have terrible resolution.

    I also hope 3D is a fad. It's a stupid and pointless gimmick. There is a very good reason it didn't survive the first time around, because it's stupid. I don't know who the ass is that decided to revive a dead technology. Hollywood is really desperate and grabbing at straws if this is all they have to offer us. "Well...we've run out of original ideas for films...so lets just make everything 3D"...anything to sell tickets. I don't get why EVERY retarded movie has to be in 3D...like Jackass 3D? Really? That just seems like it would be annoying.

    And touching on the resolution topic...the picture quality is shit when compared to true 1080p on a quality flat panel.

    3D is fcken useless. RE4 was an ok movie... loves me a peice of Milla's ass but the 3D ruined it a bit for me... everything is 3D now and Ive actually held off watching some movies cause it was only offered in 3D...

    the only thing I watched that was worth it was when I was in Hong Kong Disney and they had a kick ass animated 3D which meant the entire movie was coming at you, not just a single item every minute or so...

    Hollywood, please Axe the 3D movement... and also the Twilight Saga, and while you're at it, please stop with all the "step it up" franchise.

    I don't think it will be a fad. Instead it will get more and more mainstream.

    As for jack ass 3D etc. thats just f'n retarded.

    I think it will be cool when games like COD are in 3D with the motion sensor remotes.


    Watch this video.. This guy is the reason IMO that this 3D stuff came back. (he is actually pretty smart)

    I hate wearing those glasses. I get a head ache everytime I watch a 3G movie. Unless it's 3G like universal studios does it then it shouldn't be called 3D. I hope jackass is offered in non 3D or I may not be watching it.

    i've been using lcd 3d shutter glasses on my pc since around 1999 and no you dont want to play an fps or any game that way for more than an hour...
