Any Lawyers or legal experts here??
I am getting the run around from workmans comp about my back injury/surgery. If I can avoid it I do not want to hire a lawyer. At this point I just want to talk to someone that knows how these things go since I have never dealt with this before.
PMs are welcome as I dont really want to air it out on the forum.

I'm not a lawyer, but am in law school. I by no means can offer you legal advice, but I have access to a vast (and very expensive) legal database. I can find you statutes, case law, etc on the subject. If you're looking for anything specifically, I can research it for you. Personally, I would at least consult with an attorney. I doubt it would expire, but be cognizant of any statute of limitation that may apply to your situation before you wait around too long.

You need a lawyer who specializes in workmans comp cases. If you had a question pertaining to Constitutional law or interpretation I could explain any aspect until I was blue in the face. However, with the law, there is a specialist for every single facet of the law. Additionally, the laws governing workmans comp/personal injury/torts will vary from state to state drastically, and sometimes more so if you are in a Commonwealth. Unfortunately, you will need to contact an attorney who specializes only in these matters, or at the least an advocate or social worker who specializes in advising injured workers on workmans comp cases. If you are/were in a union, your union should be able to provide you with, or suggest a competent attorney that they use frequently.
