Only shows forced reps, no, negatives, static holds or rest pause...

Not PROPER Dorian, its for the prick's at BB.com I guess, thats why they have a 18 year old kid in the vid too.

PROPER DY Blood and Guts is the actual film or the training with Mark Dugdale. When he trains Dugdale he reveals ALOT.

    Agreed swift

    That was not DY training

IMHO each exercise should have included an all out set, not just a set to failure with one sort of forced rep, im talking negatives then drops then rest bar on chest and explode partials

Dorian this was a bit of a let down

When it comes to training i think videos are almost pointless. I could follow Dorian 100% but that doesn't mean i am going to grow like him. Every body is different and so should be their workout to maxims growth.

I would have rather seen Dorian train, wtf. Not the weaksauce 315 on the decline. What's up with the low, low sets? What happened to Arnold and his 5 hours every day in the gym?

You clearly dont know what dorian's training style was

    low volume high intensity

I thought low volume, high intensity was more suited towards powerlifting. Things like 5x5... I thought to build mass was more in the 8-12 reps, as heavy as you can go, pause at the lockout, negatives, low rest (30-45sec), 9-12 sets. Yeah I'm not familiar with Dorian's strategy. I know he got injured many times, though.

315 is suppose to be a bad bench ? I could do 5 hrs a day if i was all geared up like arnold.

315 for a decline is pretty weaksauce. I could rep that for 20 with no juice.

OK, I'll get someone to capture it. Declines are easy. I could go over 400lbs on them before juice. Man I'd be leary of putting any vids or pics on this site. I wouldn't want my face to show or the gym location...

    All cool man.

With 315 for 20 you could hit close to 500 IMO.

    20 is a lot...

I agree. I don't understand why people follow a youtube video over personal expiernece. I hate when people say well "Arnold/Ronnie/Lou did this this this and this." Well thats great.....but none of us are those people.

315 feels like 225 on flat bench to me. Granted, I'm not going to go slow to get 20 reps. I didn't go slow to hit 32 reps for 225. Now if it's a slow, controlled movement with a lockout on every rep, then yes, maybe I would only get 12 or so. But I can do over 405 decline for at least 6. Just wondering why Dorian didn't perform the bench, it would have been more impressive.
