Taking yoga classes, seriously
I'm going to try yoga out, this should be funny. I'm 5'9" and around 240 lbs, I figured it was time to do something to get flexible and accustomed to more size. Hell, my brother is into it and he thinks it will help me grow larger. Anybody here ever try it? Must be pretty tough if you lift weights and lack flexibility huh?

i've always wanted to try it because i'm as flexible as a brick wall but never took the plunge...it's still on my to do list as i believe flexibility is needed for a feeling of well being and i feel wound up like a clock spring...

I went for a 9 week program last spring. I hope to god you can keep your eyes to yourself or you're going to be hard the entire time with spandex asses bending over in your face. BE WARNED!!!!

Ya yoga is awesome. It helps develop stabilizers, and I've read that it will stretch the muscle fascia and actually help shape the muscle better.

I've done it. Helps tremendously with your training. I noticed more growth with the fascia being stretched daily.

yep, thats what I'm looking for. Trying to shape the muscles more and make them pop out and fuller looking. I also believe there are physiological aspects to it. If a guy who is 5'9" and 240 can be close to/as flexible as a guy who is 200 lbs, then it's easier for the body to pack on more size because it can handle what it has.

I started doing it recently...I don't take a class or anything I just stream some shit from Netflix and do it at home. My inflexibility combined with my size is killing me.

Well took my first class today, wow!! I can definitely see where this would be beneficial to bodybuilding. I'm going to do it twice/wk, I can see where this could help with everything from your muscle flow and tie in, fascia stretching, injury prevention/healing, right down to executing a killer posing routine on stage. People can call it gay all they want, but this is seriously exactly what I needed to take things to another level in bodybuilding
