Im a dental technician, so I make teeth. Pretty simple. Heres a case I worked on and completed about a month ago. Its an older woman who was getting her entire mouth rebuilt. Lots of decayed and broken teeth. Here are what the preps looks like after the doctor ground them down, cleaned up the decay and did some builds ups...

Then came my part. After the impressions were taken by the dentist, I pour up the models in a hard stone and go to work. We choose a metal substructure crown for the posterior teeth and some Zirconia substructure crowns for the anteriors...

And here is what the fnial product looked like mounted on our articulator. I do not have one of the final insertion, but I will have the patient come in for final pictures after the holidays...

nope, these are individually built crowns that get cemented into the mouth. The only way to get them out is to cut them out.

Since this case also involved implants (not boobs, bone structure implants) this case will cost just almost $40,000. About a 1/3 is the lab expense

where do you live? I have no problem building them but you need a dentist to do the prep work and then send out the impressions to me.

I live in the Midwest US. I plan on going back to the dentist to get the ball rolling in January. I don't have health insurance so I've been saving up for it. Paying for trt and dental work out of pocket is rough. Not sure if they would send the work out of country tho.

The tooth on each side of my two front teeth. Not sure what they are called. They were both chipped playing sports in high school and I had them filled twice and they chipped again so the dentist said he wanted to do crowns. It should cost me about $2,000 USD per tooth for the entire process.

yes, most crowns are made to cover up a root canal. But if the root canal is not performed properly and the root is not completely removed then it can become VERY sensitive to temp changes. This does happen and its usually a fault of the dentist
