6 hour arm workout
So I got a Muscle and Fitness magazine the other day and saw on the cover something about a 6 hour arm workout. Its supposed to add anywhere from 1/4 to 1 inch to your arms in the one workout...Those claims they put in there are exaggerated alot tho. But anyways I did it Monday and lets just say my arms are quite sore lol.
I'm not sure about adding the size but I am sure it was a heck of a workout. Just wondering anybody else tried it or heard of it?

I have read that exact article. It is so retarded. I do not have nearly enough time to dedicate to that. Working an arm is working an arm. It doesn't take 6 hours to get the job done. They do this with every bodypart btw. They did it with chest too.

Oh I didnt know they were saying you could do it with any of the body parts, but yea I hadnt had a good arm workout in awhile so I thought I would try it because I was going to be at the gym all day anyways for other reasons and i was quite bored by the end. I skipped the 6th hour repeat and did different stuff because it was the same thing over and over before

I read this like a year ago
Wasnt the point that they fiestly depleted you and measure you dry with no pump
And then loaded you on creatine, NO supps and a load of carbs, then continue to do a high volume hig rep work out and do it 3 times or somthing?
Then remeasure ur arms when ur pumped?

first, any gains from a single day would only be water, due to swelling of tissue. Second, growth only occurs at rest, so the growth would come after the routine, not during.
Now, after 6 hours of tearing tissue, This would have a negative impact on net growth.
No gains from excessively working out.

I once did an elbow workout for 2 hrs. They were so pumped.

Anytime you work a muscle byond 45 minutes you are no longer working on strength and size. All of my workouts never go beyond an hour. Cardio is kept at 40 minutes.

You know it is garbage like that that makes me sick about the weight training field. There is just so much bullshit out there that makes it tough for people just starting out.

Sometimes, as im waiting in line to buy groceries, i will scan the covers of magazines (flex, muscle development, m&f)...the sh*t they say on the front is hysterical!!
"add an inch to your biceps without in 1 week"
"100lbs to your bench"
"grow into Ruhl without changing eating 2k calories!"
Ok, maybe i made the last one up but the point is, media will say anything to sell their mags. In can be pure horse poo but people buy it because theyre too dam lazy to put hard work and determination into their goals. Its people just looking for an easy way out and this is the SAME reason u get all these nimrods coming in here wanting to load up on juice cause they think it will be an easy way out... Which is what the media told them.
We all were guilty of this at one point in time i suppose. I think its important to undertand why this happens though. Its actually the media and stupid a$$es in the gym who realistically cause the dangerous abuse of these substances.

why anyone buys these stupid retarded mags i do not know. they've touted all the crap they can on fancy unnessecary training systems, so now they tout unbelievable crap. such a rip-off to the newbies and easily fooled, they should be governed by watchdogs, in some sort of way
