    Is my cutting goal realistic?

    Weight- 255lbs
    Height- 6'2"

The past 4 months have been a super bulk phase for me and my diet did get a little sloppy at times just to gain the weight. I thought I was sitting at about 14% right now. I had a calliper done the other day and my fat ass is up to 18%! I don't look 18% (in my avi I was prob 13% always appear leaner than I am), but still, not gooood. I have been bulking for the past 5 years and now, starting Janurary 1st, I will begin my cut. I'm gonna stay clean from till May. But when May hits, hell will freeze over (Prop/NPP/Masteron /Clen ) stack. Ultimately, by June/July, I would like to be under 10% without going below 215-220lbs. Does this seem realistic? I'm going to be doing a lot of carb cycling and basically keeping my carbs to Oates, Sweet Taters, Waxy Maze, and Banannas. Cardio for the first month or two will be 30 minutes PWO of incline walking (3 MPH- incline will increase gradually until I get to 15%). When April hits, I will be doing cardio twice a day (Morning on empty stomach/PWO). Do you think these goals are feesible? I reallly reallly wanna get shredded this summer. Thanks in advance.

Not counting mass loss, your looking at somewhere around 20lbs of fat needing to be cut. Even at 1lb per week, you should make your goals by June.

Thanks again Gbrice, you're cutting advice is always appericated. My only concern is that for the first 3 months, I will be cutting without gear...not sure if thats a good idea. But it is what it is...gotta get a jump start on this.

You should take some pics before you start cutting. I'm 6'2" 210lbs and I kinda wonder what I would look like at 250.

Why would cutting without gear be an issue? Think about it - gear isn't necessarily a part of everybody's repotoire. I have no doubt you can cut 20lbs of bodyfat and lose VERY little LBM, if any at all. My recipe is eat ABOVE maintenance (yes, above even on a cutting diet) and KILL cardio to create a deficit. This way you are a) ensuring a ton of fat burning via cardio (assuming cardio is done at the right times at the right intensity) and b) still feeding your body plenty of nutrients to hold on to muscle. Eating below maintenance and doing a ton of cardio is a sure way to lose fat - and LBM.

    You got this brotha.
