Question for members of multiple forums
Alright so I have been looking around and many different forums and interacting with different members etc.
The main thing I noticed is that every site has almost the same view. There are many little diferences though and everyone supports the same things on their forums.
ex. PCT doses are different on many forums, Some forums reccomend Dbol only, some forums reccomend to use EQ, some say to use HCG in PCT and a few more differences.
So to my question:
WHen you are on these forums, do you stand behind what we preach here or do you preach what that forum preaches?
I have found that if I offer contradicting advice then I quickly get jumped on..

Half the people don't have a clue what they are saying. The other half shouldn't be giving advice base and their own personal experience since we are all different and all respond differently. Just because a PCT worked for me doesn't mean its going to work for you. Its a good jumping point for someone else but doesn't have to be followed 100%. We aren't doctors and we don't do lab work so we can NEVER be 100%.

Excellent post Brewster, this is very true and something I wish wasnt so prevalent. Each board tends to set certain protocols for everything and many of the members tend to fall directly in line of what is being preached. Unfortunately, any ideas which dont fall in line with their conventional thinking are quickly met by the mob with a host of flaming posts. This is especially true if your post count isnt at least 4 digits.
I have changed my mindset on more than a few things over the years and will continue to be open minded about opposing views as long as someone can articulately express their views.Last edited by FireGuy; 12-31-2010 at 09:27 AM.

I think you are correct 100%
I disagree with many cycle suggestions from general basics as I believe in a conservative approach .
The TRT doctor I was using for over 2 is a Wayne State grad with tons of credentials and I question his ethics and approach .
At best I think a general conscience is the best you will get on any forum .

This board is the most conservative on the web, but also is host to the most inteligent from what i have seen anyways.. There are a couple realy knowledgable guys on the other forums, but i find this one has a larger number of the most educated people. In regards to PCT, DSM is right about that, some things do not work for others that may work for you and me.. and even more than that i have seen PCT recomendations change pretty dramatically over the past 10 years when it comes to HCG , and how long to go for PCT.. etc.. when to start.. etc.. that has changed a lot over the years as far as i have seen anyways.. so you will get different views on this.. in regards to DBol only cycles or using EQ or whatever, this board is one of the only ones i have seen ut of the four i belong to that almost 100% of the people on here say test only, which i tend to agree with but would not say that it is a "set in stone" rule.. nothing really is in this business, your best bet is to educate yourself as much as you possibly can and make your own decisions from there.

I stick behind my views and practices. I don't know everything so if someone says something different and can prove to me what they say has logic then I will research it further and make my decision on whether or not I feel it's true. Trying to give advice when you only have 5 or 6 posts is hard. People automatically think you're wrong or uneducated. There's a few boards I've seen that have very similar views as here. Those also have a lot of the same members as here tho.

Good post man. My principles never change. I mod 5 different boards and are staff on probably around 10. I believe if my advice changed from these boards I commute too would not only put a bad rep on my name, but be very easily noticed. I strongly feel anyone given the privilege to join a staff needs to set some kind of good example.

There are a number of things i will stand by no matter which board I'm on and ive been flamed for my opinions.
They are, not to use aas until you've built some form of foundation, make sure your diet is on point, not to use aas under the age of 25 and test should be the base of almost every cycle.....
As for pct's and cycling protocols, i think we are all learning as these tend to change over time.....

I look at it this way, George Farrah and Hany Rambod train more top level bodybuilders than anybody else yet they both follow completely different protocols. Chris Aceto and Dave Palumbo both bring guys into shows shredded yet there diet and cardio program are polar opposites. Hell only 4 outta 5 dentists recommend sugar free gum for their patients that chew gum. That means 20% of some extremely well educated people have a 100% conflicting view on a basic principle. Is shouldnt be a surprise that there are so many conficting opinions on the subjective topics debated around here.

One thing on other boards i have noticed is you get parrots supporting parrots with no experience to back it up
When guys parrot useless info on this board a staff member will always step in and say .....

I think anyone who gives advice should have personal experience of any chemical they are giving advice on and not just jumping on the bandwagon of other peoples recommendations as stated we are all individuals and we do not all respond to substances in the same manner. They should also post pics of their own progress on such substances
