Been smoking for roughly 18yrs I am 32 Not proud of it I think it is disgusting, but it is pretty much my only vice. I do smoke green, but I do not consider that too bad. I quit drinking a while ago and feel much better now. Cigs are definitley next on my list.

I feel the effects for sure, but I am strong as hell and still look young and healthy so?
Its strange because I do not eat anything processed or bad for me because it is so unhealthy, but I do not try and quit Cigs
    why?

    I think they got me
The only time I ever quit was when I went 2 Jail for 3 months. And I did not crave them at all?

My fiance is trying hard to quit too. It is definately the hardest thing I ever had to do when I stopped years ago and when I drink I still do it.

Been smoking for 3 years bro... 3 months clean though. What makes you quit.... problems and complications - this mother f****ers sent my blood pressure through the roof. Most of the stuff is genetics though - some people seem to have no problem quitting whenever they feel like Try to quit - that is the best you can do. Have fun :P

Quite 3 months ago after 17 years. I've quit in the past (once for 9 months) but always went back. The difference this time is i've simply lost the desire to smoke. I don't even think about it, I don't care about it, and don't crave it. I know i'm done forever.

i smoke a pack a night when i am out drinking but other than that only 2-3 cigs a day.. since i play rugby and do cardio i do not see it as much of an issue.. but i can definitley feel it if i take off time from those and come back to them after smoking.. definitly want to quit, but i have no will power when i drink and know that when i drink i am gonig to want to smoke, and i have no plans to stop drinking so fvck it.

Almost 2 years clean from em, never looked back.

One thing that motivates me to stay away from , i love my cardio and obviously u cant be a heavy smoker to cream ya cardio.

Many benefits to save $$, women will love to pash more(get turned off with stale smell in mouth), list goes on.

To help me out i used patches and inhalers.

cut a long story short, I smoked since leaving school for 10 years, gave up a couple of years of my own free will but it was torture, started for a couple more years then read a book written by Alan CaRR on how to stop smoking, sounds corny I know, but trust me this book works, it completely changes your mindset on smoking, thats all, you can even smoke while reading the book. It dispels all the myths a bout smoking, all the stupid catchphrases, I gave up and Im free, and never looked back since.

The patch may work but you still do have the shit in your blood. But if you can't quit them cold turkey ... maybe it will help you. You really cannot quit or you still do not want to that much? Got them out without any problems... the "hardship" of quitting was just my excuse for not wanting to quit... but some people really have cravings, friends of mine were shaking like a leave the first couple of days... try to quit them cold turkey... that is the best way bro. No nicotine, no shit. And if you can hold the line for 3 days... no nicotine after that just the bad habbit of putting the damn stick in your mouth
