Possibly spending summer in Canada

So then, a college friend of mine is heading out to Canada on thursday for 9 months. Apparently he has a job interview in an Irish Bar when he gets there.

Lately he has been on to me about moving out there for the summer for say 3months, i am definatly up for it, but i believe i will need to work if i am to head to canada. It is Toronto where i would be based.

So i was wondering with so many Canadians on here, whether they believe it would be good to go there during the summer? and also are any of you aware of job oppotunities for summer work for students etc?

I really dont fancy staying in my current location for the summer and would like to sort something out

Thats my thoughts exactly dec, not a lot here right now! i would probably have work during the summer in Ireland, but where im from it can be a long ass summer and can get pretty depressing at home. Love being with the parents, but feel i need some more excitement

nah its not it...its just if it didnt happen in toronto its not true kinda thing...also their hockey team sucks more then calgary flames and Edmonton Oilers

I he decided to move there for the summer, and i do decide to go out on a summer visa then it will more than likely now be calgary!! i dont know what it is, i just have a thing for canada! all my friends seem to be australia bound these days, along with the rest of this country!! definatly looking into this big time
