    So I benched 405 today...

    Had my buddy spotting and did 1 rep and racked it. He goes, "Why did you stop, you did that easily"... I probably had 3 good reps in me but I told him my elbows where screaming!!! Muscle-wise, 3 reps were in me. Joint-wise, 1 was good enough!! lol!!

    Overload on some deca and the joint pain will disappear....for a little while

    Get the elbow wraps like big ronnie does, he had elbow issues.

    LOL!!!! 1" from the chest...f*ckin bodybuilders! LOL!!

    Yo, brotha, Inzer makes some get elbow sleeves, but they're pretty pricey. On lighter weights (like 405 lol), I use some simple McDavid knee sleeves (size large) for my elbows, works just fine. You'll notice that the larger your arms get the more elbow problems you'll start to have. We just call them growing pains, lol!

    Would you prefer me to lightly tap the chest, then bring it up... or just use a bodysuit like you guys do? LOL jk brotha!!

    I use elbow wraps that have straps that I can velcro super tight around my arms. But no matter what, my elbows always hurt over 315 now. Oh well.

    hahahahaha! Touche!!! But I'm a raw lifter.

    Are you using any leniment or your joints? I suggest looking into this stuff thats pretty common among heavy lifters called equi-block and DMSO. You can get both from any feed store or any store that sells horse related products. I use a bit on just about every joint on my body before I bang and it heats up the joint enough to allow you to bang heavy without much discomfort.

    Na, just the standard, MSM, Glucosamine, chondortin (sp?), and fish oil. Im at the point now where I like and am comfortable with how stong I am. Alot stronger then most guys around and now I just wanna sculpt what I have so I really have no reason to get stronger. Although Im sure if I start using that stuff and joints feel better Ill in return wanna get stronger lol

    Close. Im 225 at the moment. I could prob do 430 for 1 rep but my joints would hate me for a few days lol

    Im not genetically strong. I work harder than most around to get what I have. So my body struggles more. I wouldnt say I have joint issues, they just hurt far more than my muscles do.

    I did it 2 years ago... for 2 reps. Just havent done it since I quit lifting for 11 months and got back in the game again. lol
