Im in Vegas, and you drive through some neighborhoods and they are 75% empty.

Yeah, canadians are scooping them up here in Las Vegas also.

The condos that I live in, were 120K-200K a few years ago. Now they are going for 30K-80K.
6 months I will be picking some up also.

i read a statistic that 30-40% of the non owner occupied houses in california was owned by Canadians.. this was years ago, before the crash. Now is the time to buy.. this year is the year they will not appreciate for a while and even then it will be 5-10 years before you make a good profit from it.. but YOU WILL MAKE MONEY in real estate if you buy it now (as long as it is not in Ohio or Michigan)

Wahooo Vegas! We are number one! ...oh, wait...DAMN!

Four foreclosures on my little street. Our home has lost almost 50% its value and I worry what kind of people will move into these rock bottom price homes. A lot of neighborhoods are being ruined in this town. Now I am actually glad our HOA fees are sorta high.

It's not like Vegas was the nicest place to live in the first place (crime wise) I lived in Henderson for a few months before moving out here, i think vegas is the only city in america i would ever live in if i was to move back to the states..

Really? Vegas is the only city you would ever live in in the states?

I hate Vegas. Its the middle of the desert, no water. The only industry is tourism. The people here are so f*cking pretenious.

Everyone thinks that they are a rock star or celebrity.
Town full of Doochebags. Wannabe LA fags.
It is very depressing actually. The only thing going for it is the cheap real estate. And the properties suck.
0 lot lines, all the houses are stacked on top of each other. No trees, no grass, no wildlife. Just dirt and rocks and mexicans.
I got 1 more year, then I am gone and never coming back.
The only good thing about it is that it is centrally located to some beautiful places
i.e. Moab Utah, Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Pacific Ocean.

Other than that this town is dying. And will be a wasteland in 10 years.

Do we have really high crime? Regardless, I love it here, except for the economy. My business has taken a huge hit, but we are hanging in there.

per capita you do, but that is because 4/5's of the people there do not live there..

Sacramento representing at #15!!! funny how many of those foreclosures are in oak park (gang central) and how few are in Carmichael and Arden Area (private school area)

The crime will be getting a lot worse in the coming years.
The more people are out of work the hungrier they get.
    The more desperate they get.

Especially in a place like Vegas.

Lets say something happens and interstate trucking shuts down for whatever reason.

Vegas is 4 hours from anything, there are not any crops here, very little water. People start getting hungry and desperate. If I had kids, I'll be god damned if they go hungry. I will go and take food and water.

All Americans should have firearms and be trained in their safe use.

Be careful when selecting neighborhoods. Phoenix is infested with illegal alien mestizoes.

I too stick out like a sore thumb.

I do not wear t shirts that have gold flake dragons on them. Or angel wings. Never wear ed hardy either.

I havent been to the strip in months and I live on las Vegas Blvd, about 4 miles from the strip.

    Cannot not stand the strip.

They rape people on food and drink prices. There are some good resturants, but not worth the prices.

I drove through Derry, NH and on Main Street alone every business and house had for sale or bank owned signs on them. 4 years ago this was the place to live in NH. So sad.
