I was frustrated and concerned about glacierlakes. He didn't seem like a bad guy, but he didn't take rejection well and it flared quickly. He started posts that didn't communicate his questions well, and quickly felt isolated and picked on. At first I thought he was trolling, but later came to believe that his feeling were genuinely hurt. I lost track of the offensive thread and never knew how it resolved itself...apparently with his banning?

Agreed, he may have realized it probably was a subject that would follow him always with his account so he may be back soon using another user name. Hopefully he has resolved his problems by then.

Glacier received all sorts of help and extended hands trying to help him sort out his demons in at least a few different threads but he just couldn't get past one or two people that didn't buy his stories. Glacier is gone for several very justified reasons. Some offending threads have been removed. ie: he would call respected members ( could have been any members) a holes and fing idiots ...only to edit those posts after the members respond to him without quoting his posts. He would edit and make the insulting post appear very innocent/non flaming and then he would play the victim - claiming HE was being attacked?

There is also more to it behind the scenes than that.

...and you were the nicest of all. It was good his most inflammatory thread was in the TRT section as it is an incredibly polite, patient corner of this forum...but he couldn't even keep it together there. I would hate to see him post something insulting in the lounge.
