Better make sure you don't get any saltiness in one of the pockets for a few days. Gonna have to find a new way to keep the bf happy

They put me under for my wisdom teeth removable. It wasn't bad at all. Mild pain for a couple of days. I hated that they made me watch the informed consent video though. Gross. I don't want to know what is done, I just want to wake up and be done.

Dsm just had 4 taken out in december and yes i waited that long. Had an infection under one and the oral surgeon said lets go no putting off. The surgery is a painless and you will be put out what sucks is you cannot eat normal food for 2 weeks and food continously gets stuck in the empty pockets that once were your teeth. You will get ibuprofen at least 600mgs, antibiotic, one other drug i forget, script mouthwash and vics. Ask the dr for a plastic syringe to irrigate the pockets in case stuff gets caught when your allowed to eat if not you will be in pain. Any other questions just ask man, i am usually a puss when it comes to surgeries but i faired well. The worst thing is you cant lift for 10 days!!!

I am not eating that entire day just to be safe . I already went ahead and got a lot of those liquid shake/meals and really soft food.

I was just about to add a tip and realized that chi already mentioned it. My tooth...holes (proper term?!) got infected about a week after the surgery and the dentist gave me a plastic syringe so I could use salt water to flush out the areas after eating. He really should have saved me the trouble and gave it to me right away.
I was completely out for my surgery too-had a great sleep and very little pain. I wanted to go shopping afterwards until I realized that I had a mouth full of gauze and dried blood everywhere. Not cute.

I had mine done going into my Senior year of high school. I was under for the operation and had 4 impacted teeth pulled. The pain was very annoying after. I will say though if they have gauze in your mouth after, you better moisten it before trying to pull it out. Pulling it out dry was excruciating.
I really hated the no solid food for a while. But after only 3 days i was back out at football practice (probably wasnt a good idea either because i popped the stitches)
By far the best part is the pain killers. They gave me 3 days worth. After 3 days i said i was still in pain so they gave me another weeks worth. At the end of that week i could barely feel them but said they hurt anyways and got another weeks worth.
Whatever you do avoid anything that could cause a dry socket. My brother had one and said it was miserable. Therefore no sucking on anything lol

I hate the dentist with a passion. They give me valium the day before because I get the anxious. and I had all four of mine taken out. I was knocked out and honestly the pain wasnt that bad. The worse part is making sure you dont get dry socket. I was on top of that with salt water and a mouth wash. I didnt eat for anything solid for 4 days and lived on soup and pity.
I am sure you will be fine and look forward to your significant other catering to you.

the only weird part of the surgery is this fat mexican guy offered me a ride and kept asking to see me abs and touch them. Then he was like pull your pants and show me your v line. I am not sure but I think he was gay.

I got my wisdom teeth taken out about 5 years ago and i got a cist in my back right socket.. when i went in to the dentist i told him i didn't want him to use any anesthetics when he cleaned it out.. bad idea.. but Jesus was that pain a rush.. it was insane.
The surgery itself is no big deal though.. you won't be awake/remember most of it.. unless you choose to stay awake in which you can witness him use a simple wrench to grab your tooth, turn and break it and then pull it out.. it is literally that brutal.. but you won't feel it.. but you definitly hear it.. i recomend gonig under
