My over generous wife.I swear there is no teaching her.She works at a homless shelter.!st I have nothing against the homeless.Anyone could end up there.I have a problem with the drunks the junkies.The ones who dont know how to dress.Pants down their butt.Piecerings in the face.Not to mention the tats on the face.Colored hair.No wonder they cant get a job or a good one at that.Nows hears the problem.Before I got hurt.I worked 18 hr days.I would get home at 11pm and leave at 230 am.Driving truck.Well I like to hunt so I buy nice clothes.I go to get a pair of boots.150.00 they are gone.A jacket while cheep 75.00 gone.The homeless needed it.So now a junkie is got my cabels boots and a drunk has got my jacket.Wats wrong with this.I wont even talk about xmas.

She sounds awesome, mostly. But charity begins at home, and she needs to let you have some stuff! Boundaries!!!!

Even though what she is doing seems so great (I applaud her), she may need counseling to put a little separation between her compulsion, and being good to her own family. Her family needs boots and jackets too, and when one takes from their family to help others, well, then I think it has crossed the line into a behavioral problem that needs to be reigned in.

I didn't know how to say that without sounding mean.

Believe me I have.I tell her the horror stories of picking up hitchhikers.She has been burnt so many times>I cant count.3000 by a supposed friend.

when I heard this my first thought was, 'oh how selfish"......but then realized that to help others you must give air to yourself first so you CAN help others.....and giving air to herself and her family comes first....then she can help those in need so so much more....
